Old People and Death

I strongly believe that old, frail people will be warned that they are about to die, the reason why I say this is  beacuse all of my elderly relatives that I remember, somehow knew that their time was nearly up.

For instance my nan, who I did not get along with most of the time, seemed to want to "patch" things up with me in the weeks before her death, if only she could of done that 10 years earlier Sad

Hey,

Im not sure in all cases but my mum works in a care home and quite alot of the elderly people there just before they pass see people in their room, people they had know and had past during their lifetime, and it seems to bring comfort and they are happy moving on.

My Mum got told one of this elderly lady's past friends was standing right beside her, she didn't know what to say!

Hi Jambo My grandmother told me 3 days before she died that her brother had been to see her. Her brother had died when he was 3mths old from pnemonia and she said he was all grown up when he visited her. She was really happy that she had seen him. God bless juditha

A life, well lived will bring its rewards - some degree of awareness of being ready to 'move on' , being one of them.

But, being 'warned'?

There is nothing to fear in this natural transition.
