The 23rd Psalm.  Written by David.  David, as we all know was a sheep herder.  It is only fitting that his poetry would liken us to what he knew.  They read this at my father's funeral this week, as they do in almost all Jewish and Christian ceremonies.  It is a beautiful psalm, and has given comfort to many.  

It also has in it; "he restoreth my soul."  Don, I'm sure could give us some insight into that one.   It is a comforting psalm, Deanna.  And you are right, it gives comfort to people of faith.
