Hi Davidbrian, as long as it isn't hurting I would just say "Wow, there's something going on, must explore that!" Everybody can perceive, if focusing on that, there are several centers in the body's place which are carrying specific feelings. Most known as "Chakras". I found in what I've read and experienced so far, there are many differences in where are these centers located and what function they have and how they can be manipulated. Finally everyone has to find out his/her own way to handle energies, but literature can give some hints and inspiration. I personally had some experiences with this energy centers and recommend to observe what's going on, because you can use them for bodily and spiritual wellness. As usual, meditation (including Bruce's way) and such things like Tai Chi and Chi Gong will deepen the perception of your body(s).
