About the Planning Center in Focus 15, not all of us go around setting well thought out intent. If our subconscious minds can wreck havoc for these CWs, and then there are those of us who tend to day dream a little too much, how can anything be in proper order?
And I'm the type of person who goes through things in my head over and over, planning and replanning, and trying to come up with every scenario imaginable. That is how I plan things. (I hate surprises so I always try to be on top of everything). Do I drive those CWs nuts? That is quite a job they have there.
And how can we tell if we've messed things up? (like the example of the person who stopped to buy cigarettes and missed the dentist appointment, then drove like crazy trying to get there on time). Do we just need to slow down and look around us? If we learn to pay attention will we always be on track?
But there are times in our lives when things don't go the way we want, and we try and try to get what we think is right, but we keep seeing nothing but hurdles. Sometimes things need our persistence in order to work out for us. And in the end it pays off that we kept trying despite all the odds. I think persistence is important because I don't believe in giving up. I guess there's a reason behind it all, right?
Don't we also have events planned and lined up for us a long time in advance, like major events in our lives? How is it that we don't end up messing those things up? Do we mess up more than we get right? I hope not. I hope someone is out there looking out for us.
