Music for the lotus bloom
Mar 4th, 2006 at 11:21am

Greetings,
Your hemi-synch info got me to thinking. I can't afford those right now, but has anyone tried creating their own version of chords that will open the top chakra?
We have a basic hobby-style keyboard that I've tried 3 octaves of Cs and a couple other notes ina sort of pulsing rhythm. That's helpful but not the full treatment, I imagine. Also use a string of brass bells of a high C to clear my mind when just returned/ awakening.
Are these sounds as helpful as they seem?
Thank you, bets

Hi Bets,
as a musician I always say what sounds good to YOU is a good sound- for you. Or if you have discovered that certain tones (frequencies) stand out for you, then explore it further (the common keyboards have a fine pitch tuning, for each half tone 10 steps).  But there is so much fine music already canned...
But simple tones/sounds is not the principle of the HemiSync recordings. They use slightly different frequencies for each ear which makes (so they say) the brain respond in a frequency which is the difference between the two original frequencies.

Drumbeats at a special speed also are effective I've heard.
