Most of them can be made to fit circumstance..they are quite obscure though.

Greetings Juditha,
I do---do you?
Whatever prophecies appear to be, we cannot add to their impact with personal fear. Its important for us to have courage and 'use' PUL at every opportunity.
I get the feeling that Nostradamus was pretty accurate but for a smaller geographic area than I previously thought---I used to think he was talking about the whole world!  Now i think he's dealing more with an area centered on Paris. Newscasts have already shown many of the scenes he described, like when the commuter train was bombed and the young people rioted at night.
The same for the sun calendar of the --Aztecs? Their area coould easily become a part of the US or South America and so end their domain that way.
It seems that every civilization has had its prophets and they get more attention for doom and gloom than for countless wonderful moments.

hi bets i do beleive most of it So many different prophets have predicted so many things for future events Ive had dreams myself sometimes that have come true but i think we all have I have read the book of revalation and i admit on on new years eve the year 2000 i was fairly convinced that the world was going to end and so were a lot more people This year the date in june is going to be 06  06 06  and ive had people say to me because it says 666 that it means destruction and the end I think that is because its the sign of the devil and people will always think that the end of the world is nigh  God bless juditha

I believe in the revelations in the bible most of them are coming true already ,famine ,disease ,destruction and war the revelations were written for a good reason ,to show us what will happen in the future, our future, their is a lot of truth in the revelations. DEANNA

Dunno if Nostradamus was a prophet or not...

But what we do know about him is that he was a brilliant and brave doctor many, many years ahead of his time.

He also was a good astrologer too.

I think its more than possible that he was a true prophet, but who knows really?   His Quatrains seem to be more symbolic and multi-layered than the average bear could decipher..

Anyways, what i find interesting is that so many of his prophecies contain astrological information...

If one was going to write prophecies, i would imagine that Astrology ala Big Clock Moen style would be a way to go...

Interestingly, when i was obsessed with the Changes and really wanted to know the dates, i had a few dreams where i was in a big library and in these particular library dreams i would go find a book myself (in some dreams it was handed to me by an wise old man type) and when i opened it up, all of a sudden i was looking at a 3D map of the Solar system and seeing certain planetary alignments.

Though i was versed in astrology, not much of this translated consciously.   But i believe when these 'times' come, specifically the alignments which are NOT causes, but more indicators, then i will be alerted at an intuitive level "pay attention to these space/time cycles" type message, probably just a feeling or hunch.

Deanna, there are some people (including me) that believe that "Revelations" isn't so much about "End times" as it is about a symbolic or allegorical journey into the process of Enlightenment--describing the opening up of each of the major 7 Chakras and how they relate to the physical body centers we call the Endocrine glands.

There are 7 major Chakras, and interestingly there are 7 major Endocrine glands.

If you read Revelations, you see 7 mentioned time and time again, in various ways too.  These unfold in a order of sorts, cause each Chakra after the 1st represents an ever more expanded, faster vibrating, and more inclusive of Consciousness way of being, perceiving, and knowing.

For the person nearing the culmination of this process of full awakening to Source, i suppose in a sense it is "The end of the world" for them...
Because they then transcend the World, and the world has no power or influence over them...  This corresponds to the "Crown", and most expanded and All inclusive Chakra....  This Center resonates with the Star Arcturus in my belief system, and Edgar Cayce said that our little system was revolving around this greater and more expanded Star system of Arcturus.   He called Arcturus the center of this Universe's forces....yet there are ever more expanded centers like the Galactic Core.

In other words, people who unfold and balance these Centers through the transforming power of Love get a glimpse outside of the cosmic paper bag.

As Bets said Nostra was accurate in some ways and very innaccurate in other ways,  what struck me was his prediction of the september 11th attacks.

Hi people,
what makes me a bit sceptic is that these predictions are always "verificated" AFTERWARDS. You'll find many events that will fit with it when you really want to find one. This is due to the partly very symbolic language used by Nostradamus as well as in the Revelations, so it's nearly impossible to get something out of it for seeing the future, you know, when 6 was 9...(sorry for that).

Jambo, as far as I know, there was an e-mail running around the web very shortly after 9/11 quoting a Nostradamus verse BUT it was fake. I've heard some experts on TV, they said there isn't anything in Nostradamus' scripts which would fit to 9/11.

Nevertheless, Nostradamus and his writings is still fascinating me, but I've given up to interprete it or read the final ultimate key-solution-books about it as there is a new release of that kind every year.

Spooky
