Simultaneous earth lives.
Feb 11th, 2006 at 2:36am

I have just joined this forum. My apologies for enquiring on a subject almost certainly to have already been covered. Am on an Edgar Cayce forum & the question of an entity (eg. myself) being born (as I was in 1953) and somehow an aspect/personality of my "higher" or "total" self being also born in my current life time. I (at this stage) don't believe this happens. However I have been told by an adherent (on the Cayce forum) of the Monroe Institute that the moderator Bruce Moen is/was a personality of a "higher self" & Robert Monroe was also a personality of that same "self", living at one period in the same era on earth, in our time 20th century.

I know a little of the structure of non-time & am still researching the implications of this through several works. I will slowly work my way through the Monroe & Moen literature to find the answer. But I would appreciate some comment.

My apologies if this is seen as blatent disruption without regard. Please delete if seen that way.

Margaret.

no apologies necessary. btw, I like your tag, "queen of mediocity" ha ha! I share the feeling. welcome here. the TMI school of thought looks similar to the Cayce foundation although I've not been looking at Cayce much. Here the idea is you have this oversoul thing, call it higher self, call it God, call it spirit, call it a disc with personalities in a drawer (I like that!) ha! but it goes like this....We are all the One. individuated. The higher self sends down probes. These probes gather Earth experiences, then, whatever fruits we sprout, we take it back to the higher self or the disc, which may consist of literally thousands of probes in various time periods of history (non linear time) these lives lived are like being on a wheel, it's like addictive. at some point when graduation off the wheel begins, all these probes gather and form a new plan, maybe another planet to explore. I don't know, lol, haven't got that far yet! Yet if you subscribe to the Oneness thesis, you begin to see all people as a part of yourself and so re-merging into all that is, means, your ego falls off or burns up, lol, gets fried, whatever! from what I understand you don't lose anything, like your individuality, but you have everything to gain by embracing all of humanity...something like that. and yes, I'm pretty sure Monroe and Moen are the same disc, which like I said could be thousands or millions.

One thought to add to Alysia's comment is that we are forced to retain differentiation by having a body, but in the spirit phase we are free to merge into the Oneness. This is generally painful because we realize how we've screwed up our lives and hurt our friends. As a result, we select future karmas to experience so that we can "repair ourselves" by new experiences. In this sense, however, we all are always attached to some degree to the One Creative Source. Thus, it gets kinda moot as to who is part of whom and how much.

 Hi there Margaret,

This is a little bit how i understsand Bruce's perspective on it from reading his books.

When Mr. Moen first came upon what he calls his Disk or i call Total self, he saw many other personalities directly connected to him.

Much later on, he learned that his immediate Disk, with all his own personal lifetimes (possibly thousands of personalities), is connected to an even more expanded Disk which may contain 2 Disks together...  This or so my guides tell me is where we and our Twin Souls are connected directly.

He looked behind this Disk, and there was yet another more expanded Disk..again this more expanded Disk contains an ever increasing amount and range of vibration of Disks within it.  This Disk may be our other selves within other systems?  The next Disk maybe related to the concept in many spiritual sources of "Soul Families" or of Soul groups who often incarnate in groups and eventually meet up in physical...

A few Disks later, he then connected at the most expanded Disk--Disk 8--the most expanded and all inclusive one, and when he tried to communicate with this Disk, he at first had a rather hard time because of 'frequency' mismatch.

But, after trying and eventually succeeding, he realized that this 8th expanded Disk was the actual "Father" of all these other Disks.   He called this 8th Disk the "Planning Intelligence".

You and i being involved with Cayce info, might call this Planning Intelligence the "Christ Spirit", that original Spark of God spoken of in the Bible as the Light which was created and Co-Created this Universe with Source/God--The Father.   There is some debate as to the personality of Yeshua, and if he is directly connected to this 8th Disk, and created out of that expanded Being.   I believe he was, but what ever floats your boat eh?

What is interesting about Bruce's 8th Disk concept is that it echoes Cayce's info that there are 8 dimensions that Earth and its system is part of...  As you know, he related the Planets to these various dimensional awarenesses....   In my beliefs, Arcturus represents this 8th Disk dimensional awareness, this Christ Consciousness of total all inclusive Love.   Hence why the Readings refer to Arcturus as "His Star", for Yeshua seems to have come directly in from this dimension.

I disagree with some of the posters on this thread, inviduality in my beliefs is just as important as Oneness...  And our immediate Disks are as unique as Snowflakes compared to other immediate Disks, and each personality within an immediate Disk is also individual and unique unto itself.

So 'past lives' of our Total Self are in that sense very real, but when we start to shift our energies into the last and most expanded Disk--Disk 8, we learn that every other immediate Disk and every personality is connected to us on a very deep level, yet they are NOT exactly us... made of the same 'stuff' and very much connected, yet separate with its own individual consciousness into infinity....

The natural inclination it seems is to lean more to individuality, or to lean too much to Oneness concepts...   I believe they are equally important, and equally 'true'.

I also relate this to other concepts like Yin--Yang, negative--positive charge, feminine--masculine, right brain--left brain, etc.

Seems that "Oneness", that original passive state of Being that the Creator 'rested' within, can be related to 'feminine' or negative charge energy.

Seems that individuality, the result of the Creator moving within itself, of projecting its Light corresponds to the positive force, and 'masculine' energy.

When these are perfectly balanced within a Souls Consciousness, its then that they phase into awareness of Source.   But because we are all imbalanced in relation to these inner forces, we all have an innate 'predjudice'  or lean to one more than the other in how view these as important.   As many spiritual sources have pointed out time and time again, it is the energy of Love which fuses this perfect balance of these seemingly opposite principles or realities.

Talk and theoretics is cheap though, living it is whole nother thing.

Hi there, PhoenixRa....

Thanks to laffingrain & dave_a_mbs for their replies. Yes, Cayce said our solar system actually revolves around Arcturus & there are 8 dimensions to our solar system. 8th dimension would be the "start" of another octave of "existence/experience." I think of the 8th as a threshold to aim for.  A new starting point.

What you are describing is a much expanded notion to what I was thinking of. I'll slowly work through the implications to the best of my ability, but will still need to be "lead" by an expert who can instruct me while knowing my current limitations & evolving abilities. And you know who that is. Will leave it at that for now. Thanks for your reply. Agree totally about our living our own truth as well as possible rather than seeking to gain all knowledge AND knowing our limitations. Cyber-information and/or books can often work counter to patience.
This is why I'm looking forward to a focussed life that's so full of living, not knowing too much too soon will not bother me.

laffingrain? I was going to call myself the cliched 'Jack of all trades,' but I'm not even a Jack. I like a spread of information sources & works  that ring true, but in liking that I haven't focussed in depth on any one. So, I'm mediocrity instead.

Yes, Yeshua is a mysterious character. The Cayce work calls him a co-creator with God, Son, already before we were even sons, He as the leader Amilius even though "Amilius" is also a general term for a consciousness. The Urantia Book also makes this "entity" so much more evolved of an older round or different creative path even, so to speak, than we are even from the "time" of our "beginning" as beings before entering this earth plane. So does the Bible. I know I don't have the mental resouces & I believe even if I read every possible work, I could not fathom it. I'll concentrate on line apon line, precept apon precept, patience.

Hi Margaret,

Getting back to your original question, about the possibility of simultaneous lives, my answer is yes, I do believe souls that are part of the same oversoul (Disc?) can be alive at the same time.  I'm not familiar with Bruce Moen's, Robert Monroe's or Edgar Cayce's cosmologies, but rely upon Seth's teachings instead. He says that each person/soul/lifetime has many related lifetimes that exist within a single oversoul and, if I remember correctly, a number of oversouls are all part of an even greater "entity."  We can carry this further and further to the point where everyone is recognized as being part of All That Is, but that doesn't help with your original question.

First of all, I think we need to understand that life here in this space-time reality is uniquely different from all other planes of existence in that time is one of its structural elements.  Outside physical reality, time simply doesn't exist.

Our souls, which incarnate as human personalities, have their basis in the greater reality beyond space and time and are free to live lives any place and any time.  They're not restricted by any kind of rule which says that only one soul from a particular oversoul can incarnate at any particluar time.

I hope this helps.

Glen

Interesting thought, George.

I have heard it said that due to the set up in our reality, the soul has the greatest potential for spiritual growth and understanding, facing life's hardships and learning.  Thus, many choose to incarnate even with the difficulties, sadness, and joys because while progress of the soul occurs in heaven, it may be a much slower process then it is on earth.

You could think of reincarnating as a "do over," however this assumes perhaps that there is a wrong and a right and you want another chance to do the right thing.  Its more about accepting who you are, loving yourself and others, and striving to do the right thing than it is to correct a wrong from a past life.

My two,

Matthew
