I read about visualisation, where it can heal the body as well as the spirit. It also says that as you imagin this it really works. Also daydreaming is another thing that we dont do enough off.We can make things happen if we daydream or visualise. It could be another way to go into the spirit world to contact our loved ones.Any thoughts.George

Daydreams are minor meditations. Keep going deeper and you get into self-hypnosis, which is a gateway state, and then true meditation. In general, meditation, drugs, serious illness, mortal fear, near death injuries, emotional shocks and similar things all go to the same general place. And, if we're healthy and have a good attitude, we can return later from the more serious causes,  or we can go into a sort of post traumatic psychosis.

Healing the body is effective, especially when we can visualize the location of an injury and then bring in a cleansing energy, like "white light", that replaces the image of the injury. This is a remarkably simple and effective procedure. It's just that simple. You can augment it a bit by drawing your breath "through" the injured place, while sending healing prana to it. At very worst, this will do no harm. At best, it heals.

If that fails, then the emotional entanglements that hold the pain and distortions in place must be handled, which is where hypno-analysts who do deep regression generally work. This is brain surgery and requires a little training. If you want a source, try the IARRT hypnosis classes. These are oriented toward past life regression, but they give the basic competently.

In fact, if you're interested, join the IARRT - we could use more members. While Bruce gets people unstuck from being earthbound the IARRT look to prior lifetimes. Very compatible, similar techniques.

Dave

same question keeps popping up...must be important!

Limitations to this? Have you (or associates) seen just about anything and everything healed? from cancer to cavities?

And how can one use this for mundane? My kid has a perennial problem with missing details, and the teachers give big points for details. Maybe this is a learning disability. It shows up in everthing from math to English (writing notes on the Wal-Mart debate, with the spelling in front of him, he writes "Walmart") to missing quick decisions in his wrestling and missing points, which I see as being in the detail situation. How can one visualize bringing a healing energy into this lack of attention to detail?

Hope you find this question ionteresting, George. we really have hit on this topic from several angles here but there always seems to be another aspect to explore.

Here is another discussion we had:

Another useful technique is EFT, Emotion Free Technique.  I highly recommend checking this out.  It's easy to learn and helps, along with affirmations, to clear the mind and focus on the problem at hand.  Give it a shot!

Lucy-
The kinds of things that can readily be healed by the mind are the thngs that the mind has created. This includes everything that is attached by strong emotions, post traumatic residues,  and that kind of thng in general.

When I work with molested women they often see dark smudges where the perpetrator handled them, including in the womb and genitals as might have occurred. The soution is first to remove the emotional glue that keeps the problem there, usually a combination of hatred, guilt and rage. Next,  kindle compassion and forgiveness for the perpetrator who was obviously a sick SOB more to be pitied than feared, so that there is no longer any sense of danger in that memory. Finally, burn out the dark areas with white light.

Then there are the various levels of "add on" problems. These might be as simple as an organized clot of energy, a relatively self-directed motivation that is internally coherent, or a fully formed spiritual entity. The treatment for the non-personified levels is roughly constant, first to see what's happening, and then to bring white light in to fill the space and to get rid of whatever was there before. For the entities with personalities, they generally get talked into going into the light, just like any earthbound spook.

There are no absolute limits to the ability to heal, but it's hard to work with anything that appears to have its roots in material appearances. Still, many people have gone into spontaneous remission of illnesses and cancers by simply believing that it could be done. The problem appears to be which belief will turn out to be the stronger, belief in illness or belief in health.

Hypnosis works in this area in the same manner. The goal of any hypnotic suggestion is to establish a state that will reinforce itself, "Feel good when you do this," and that will replace illness-belief with health-belief, "Notice that you feel excellent and that your body has all the resources needed to feel even better tomorrow."

The use of negations, "You no longer feel sick," rarely is effective because it reinforces belief in sickness.

Interestingly, prayer has been proven effective as a healing agent, even though the praying people were unaware of the identities of the people who were to be healed. Given that fact, it follows that an atmosphere in which everyone believes in a general state of well being with no more than trivial interruptions would be most likely to succeed. However, this must be stronger, with respect to the individual to be healed, than the suggestions from physicians that the disease is serious, dangerous and long lasting.

Hope this helps-

Yes dave that's interesting.

You say
Quote:

But what doesn't mind create?

Are your ideas on conciousness (expressed in other strings and threads) consistent with something I recall Seth II saying:

"Always the Spirit forms the Flesh."

So theoretically speaking, if that is true then all diseases are diseases of the spirit.

So that's consistent with

Quote:

(not sure what you mean by "roots in material appearances")

So then how does one make belief in one's health stronger.

Maybe it is just so hard for me because I only see the vector when there are really so many component to resolve it to. Yeah regardless of the problem, if it has been around for a while then there probably is some emotional overlay to get out of the way.

Not sure how to apply this to a learning disability.
