A Way To Phase...
Jan 28th, 2006 at 1:47pm

Hey Everyone,

Well I phased last night but maybe possibly have tapped onto a way to phase, a maybe easier way for beginners, for new explorers on this side of things?

It sounds simple but worked for me. Once again you have to get the nearly asleep relaxed thing going, just go to sleep but keep your mind awake. But you don't I believe, have to go too far unlike with trying to OBE.

Now the next thing i found myself doing was chasing someone in a supermarket! lol don't ask I was slightly drunk! But anyway my whole focus/energy/intent was to catch this person as we ran around from asile to asile. Eventually I caught up with this person but as soon as I did i noticed it wasn't just a daydream or seeing occasional images in my head I was now there!

Now the thing with phasing because I think maybe it was circumstances but it was quite easy to lose it and if this is a first time you may have to practice a few times and holding on in there to make your experience last longer. One thing I do which helps is focus on an object when things begin to waver. For example you see properly but you notice vision is going, as in you can only see right in front of you etc so choose something, anything and focus on it and your awareness will come back.

If you come out try catching that person again! lol

I want to go into a bit more detail about when i was catching this person. Because I was deeply relaxed drifting off and because all i cared about was catching this person half way through i remember actually going into a daydream so it wasn't just odd images i was seeing i was actually there already you could say. I didn't become to aware I was out untill i caught that person then noticed my surroundings. But the trick is just like when you daydream is to escape without relising it so try not to think about what you can see, but rather trying to catch that person!

Catching that person for me worked last night but it can be anything that takes over all your focus, something like chasing is good because your constantly going getting dragged deeper an deeper into phasing.

well thats it! If you try and have any questions or any results would love to hear. Im going to try again to night and see whether it is something that will work most of the time for me. Anyway i hope it will help at least someone out there who is trying to explorer this wonderful adventure!

Ryan,

So you are saying that in the end, you did become "out of body" through this technique?

Did you feel as if you were "physically" there, or did you feel like a point of consciousness?

What details do you remember of this person?

By "chasing", do you mean that your awareness was traveling fast, or do you actually mean this person was running from something?

What do you think this experience means?  Do you believe this was a physical reality focus?

Sorry for all the questions!  Can't think of what else to say except that it sounds very interesting, and I understand what it is you're saying--although, your experiences are usually a little strange!   Cheesy

Love,
Vicky

Hey!

Yeah I always seem to attract the strange experiences!

I was out of body yeah, It was me out there and was in control with my thoughts. But I didn't use the "normal" way of inducing vibrations. I see phasing as daydreaming but still your still OBE, just a different method.

I didn't feel like a point of consciousness, I have never felt that yet. I had a body, maybe this came from chasing but so far in my experiences I have always had a body.

The person I was chasing was actually my dad? He was pushing a trolly as well as running lol. I don't know why? Or if this has any significance or something i don't know. I don't know how it started either, I certinly didn't think of this it just happened which is why I think its interesting because I'm not sure whether this type of focused energy can lead to such experiences.

By chasing I was actually in my daydream chasing my Dad, running after him as hes running away.

I don't think it was a physical reality focus, although i think at the beginning it was the store near us but just turned out into a "supermarket". I've actually never had a real time OBE, thats the ultimate for me and something I would love to experience.

Thanx for the reply and no worries about the questions, love to explain so hope thats helped.

I think I'm at a stage now where my control is good out there, I just need to work on getting out more often and whenever I like plus also setting some goals now like maybe travelling to higher plans and visiting my grandad and cousin.

Hi Ryan,
often, as a preliminary so to say, I imagine walking in my appartment and flying out of my window over the streets of my town. It's not the full-realistic type of OoBE, but gets better and better. I noticed similar things like you, as there is, I have to "live in the moment", that is to look at where I actually am now, when I think where I could go next, I immediately "teleport" there which can get too much cut and less intense then, or the thinking weakens the whole setting. Also I noticed walls of houses seem to have a magnetic force on me in this journeys, so that I have to actively stay away from them, which again means to overall stay active and deal with the surrounding, as you said, concentrate on something, rather than worrying about "what am I doing?" "why is this?" etc. I do this pretty awake and simultaneous aware of my body, but often when I lay down for this I notice a kind of break, a shift, and I think then "aha, I'm in my imagination mode again".
