I too believe in the afterlife and Heaven. Some can say I even know it exists because I've seen it, although most people wouldn't believe it. Those sound like really cool experiences Deanna. I wouldn't call them paranormal, because I think it's perfectly normal for spirits to be seen by people. In the case of your dad, I'm sure he's in Heaven right now happy, with friends and family and knowing that you're learning so much on the earth.

Deanna, I too have had experiences people would call paranormal. Months ago, I was once washing my hands in my bathroom, only to walk back into my living room, and my Pepsi can was moved to another spot of the living room. My Pepsi can was sitting on my cat's scratching post, whereas I sat it down on the coffee table before getting up and washing my hands. Pepsi cans don't get up and move on their own.

I also once had a very vivid dream, so real that I knew it wasn't a dream. I awakened after several hours of sleep, layed my head back down to sleep in bed again, only to be wide-awake while dreaming, and seeing to the right my families astral bodies, or starry bodies, standing up dreaming from a distance away. It was mesmerizing. My family was in their bed's sleeping at the time. This dream was so real I knew --  in real time, as wide-awake as right now, that it was happening. Everything looked starry and other 'beings' (what some would call astral beings) were moving about on the starry plane. Everything was starry and sparkly.

I've heard spirit voices too, from a distance away when trying to astral project. I've heard conversations right in my own house from a distance, when trying to leave my body. It wasn't scary, it was just voices from a distance, as real as any other conversation. I've had other experiences, but those two are my favorites.

hi everyone thankyou for welcoming me to the board i was in the spiritualist church one evening and we had a medium talking and the medium said that two spirit dogs had come through i could hear these spirit dogs running roud the church and they were panting as well that was an amazing experience in my home i have a little table beside my chair and i lit my cigarette and put the lighter back on the little table all of a suddenly the lighter picked itself up and threw itself across the room and the light was flickering on and off at the same time ,iwent out one day came home walked in my living room and most of my ornaments had been thrown across the room some of my pictures were off the wall broken glass also i have had someone hold my hand when i,m laying in bed at night but not every night  i have sat in circle and heard footsteps when we was all sitting in circle with our eyes shut and being very quiet  i had somone who talked to me when i was a little girl i had quite a few different experiences i have a twin sister called judy and she has her own experiences  as well she has seen her spirit guide he is a red indian my spirit guide i was told by a medium is an egyptian but i havent seen him personally yet  but maybe i will one time  deanna
