Flying

What is it to fly and how many ways are there to do it?
How do you fly?
Where do you go?
What happens there?

For me, flying is discovering that I am ALIVE. To fly through the heart, through the mind's eye, into a place populated by others like me.  There are also many strange and moving "objects" there which twinkle and turn as if to show off their beauty, their strangeness.  Landscapes appear.  Things happen.

For me, flying is to discover that I am in relationship, that the energy bodies are mingling, changing, becoming.  I am with another in ecstatic embrace of emotion, and all that is required of me is that I stand inside the circle of my own wonder and experience the many expressions of love that exist.

I can fly into any storm, into convulsive laughter, into the depths of my despair, into profound awe, into exquisite restless bliss...because I am HUMAN.

A human can fly in so many ways to so many places.

Reach out. Let go. Anything can happen.

from love's eye, blink

Ok, that is just plain spooky?!

For the last hour i have been remembering dreams when i younger where i was flying and how nice it felt, like i didnt have a care in the world!

I have 2 memories of flying dreams.

1) I flew out of the window and dont really remember details just the amazing feeling of gliding.

2) I started falling down my stairs but instead of hitting the bottom i remember being lucid and i flew up like a plane coming out of a nose dive and i swooped into my living room. It was amazing!

I was young when i had those dreams, about 10/11. I have only just remember how free the dreams made me feel!

Last time i thought of those experiences/dreams --- roughly 2-3 years ago i would guess.

First post i see on this board after having those memories is you talking about flying Shocked

As Thierry Henri would say (If you have seen the british renault clio advert), "Tis weird, non?"  Shocked Grin

To rise in or be carried through the air by the wind.

Hi,
I too had dreams in which I was flying, it was exciting. In some of those dreams I firstly was standing in a group of people, then I was concentrating and I slowly began to float, slowly lifted up higher and higher and I thought: "Hey people, look at this! I can do it! It is possible! They must see it, yes they do, they stand there down on the ground with eyes and mouths open. Wow! I really can do it!"

The other things are mind-journeys. Sometimes, to get a start, I imagine to float in my room, over the house and in the nearby surrounding. Then I ususally go up high where I can see the little earth.
On locations like F27 it's usually less sensual, it's like you see something from a distance and in one moment you're there, like you zoom in with a camera.
On other occasions it's like becoming airy, expanded, less centered, feeling lightly. To take any form or expand endlessly and formlessly.

Spooky

Hey,

Taking this literally I've only flown three times out there, and the 3rd was this morning, and i jumped out my window and just went across a little (couldn't really get to grips for some reason) so just went up and looked around and it felt so amazing to be free, and weightless and like nothing can bother or touch you at all sitting up there looking at everything.

Back to the thread at the moment me flying is to create my life that I want out of what I have been dealt.

I just finished a session with a woman who seemed to spend most her time between lives flying - only went int o the Light once - otherwise was either flying or sitting haunting some place - in one life she was stillborn and went flying off through the hospitall hallway - in another life she was a hawk - later she was a Native American when she died she went flying again.

Her description of her body as she "flew" or "floated" was that she was made of wind. She had no local place, but was kind spread out everywhere at once.

Very interesting Dave. I feel closely connected to this state, or imagination, to be air or wind.
