If there were just one thing....
Jan 2nd, 2006 at 6:46pm

Hello all,

A question for you:

If you woke up tomorrow morning
and found that something could "suddenly"
and with practically no effort on your part
be changed in your world,
what would that one thing be?

Are you sure it can't happen?

It happened for me today....
and, yes, mine is a secret...
for no other reason than
I enjoy a little secret,
even from myself  Smiley

but tell me yours anyway, would you? Smiley

Ok, thought of one.  To be completely helpful as possible to all i meet, and to be filled with only PUL.

I'm sick of drama, am really, really, really, really tired of it.

A partner, Blink? Is that the secret you haven't shared with us?

In my world? I'd be an Asended Master. That would change, for the better, just about everything in my world and those of everyone I came to contact with.

with Love,

Rob

I have two, Blink -

Like you, Blink, one is a secret which fills me with joy.

And the other is to consciously live my life with PUL.

good thread! I'll need to ponder this awhile, but just off the top of my head, if everyone or at least the majority of mankind could know of immortality realms, then I think there would be massive changes in regards to ending a life, as in war, or personal killings.

My wife would have no more chronic pain.  I know this one is certainly possible, but the cure is often worse than the disease.

Hello Bud:

I don't know what kind of chronic pain your wife has, but I used to have chronic pain.

I had lower back pain for years, plus upper back and neck pain for a shorter period of time.

Before I started to get well, I went through a period of three months where I slept only 2 to 4 hours a night. I felt like I had lost my life.

But then I found out that my problems weren't physical. It turned out that blocks in my energy body were causing the pain.

I made a list of all the things that had effected me emotionally during my life, and started to work on them.

After a while, I started to get help from spirit guidance. My guidance helped me find issues I hadn't noticed, and worked on my energy body.

Western doctors often only want to talk about the physical. But I found that body, mind and spirit are all connected.

My number one trouble spot (in my lower back), hasn't bothered me since early last winter. My upper back and lower back no longer bother me either.

I believe that physical pain is often a signal that a psychological and/or spiritual issue needs to be worked on. Unfortunately, western medicine doesn''t tend to point people in this direction.

dear Bud. you have such an unselfish love for your wife I feel like u are helping her heal on levels unconscious, that you and she were meant to be together for this and it will happen.

Albert I am now going thru what u already went thru with the lower back. not going to say much about it here except everything u said is absolutely right on about energy blocks and issues that are in your mind directly before the onset of pain.
and yes psychological pain/spiritually related as well, reaching into those areas.
it's coming along well..I see complete healing within a short time for myself.
one thing I noticed about pain whenever I ask myself if I need it for a reason, like whats the durn message here to receive: I notice directly after the question I listen more intently for the answer as in a meditative state, or altered state where "all" of me is listening, not just the part that wishes it wasn't getting beat up.

so, I don't know, I can hear better the message behind the pain, and follow directions easier from spirit.
yea, for sure pain gets that allusive thing we've been talking about now and again "attention."

which is different than intention. attention is just focus I suppose. intention comes after attention.

I knew this fellow with cancer and he was so immersed in his pains he actually had a love affair with pain. I didnt' get it. he had a guide he would tell me about this guide and him having conversations about, of all things, physical pain. I think he was trying to exercise control over pain without getting rid of the causes and getting a complete cure. I've been a healer in several lives and one time I said, well, lets get rid of the cancer, and he said, no, my cancer cells like to live.
whatever! rendered me completely useless in the relationship..but to each his own.

glad you're all whole and healed up Albert and that you are here. love, alysia

thanks for the kind and helpful words laffingrain and recoverer.

When I was in 2nd grade I had a headache.  this was and still is a very rare thing for me, and I only noticed when I turned my head suddenly.  i told the teacher and demonstrated by shaking my head.  She said, "why don't you stop shaking your head?"  It worked!

I think we are the only animal who tests our painful parts constantly to see if the pain is still there.  Sure enough, if we test enough, it comes back again and again.

I realize pain can be a complex issue.  We are working on it from many fronts, including spiritually and mentally.

  Whoa there...

While i very much believe in Recoverer's experience with pain and do believe that body problems can be very much related to psychological or energetic issues...

Its really depends on the person and the conditions involved.

Basically, your body is somewhat like a car, if you rarely tune it up, put oil in it, take care of it, it will eventually break down...

But, again lets say bodies are like cars...well because of genetics and other factors, not everyone has the same type of car, and this is very important in considering the relativity of the physical equation.

Like, some are born with crappy Kia cars, and so they really need to maintain their car if they want it to run good for any length of time.

Others are born with Volvos or what not, which can take a lot of abuse without showing signs of wear and tear for quite awhile.

Others (the majority or average) are more inbetween like a Chevy, Mazda, Hyundai or something.

People that are radiantly healthy (meaning have a balance between the physical, mental, spiritual with a lot of inner love energy) don't age, and don't need to die.

But yeah, the Back is classically a body part which very easily manifests emotional, or spiritual issues.

Something like cancer while it does have an emotional, spiritual counter part, has a lot to do with diet and especially eliminations.

My Mom battled with cancer for 4 years and eventually died from it.

Emotionally, she though a very loving person, was very self sensitive sometimes, and didn't hold her emotional center very well and often let people really upset her.   She was too emotional and held onto stuff longer than it was healthy for her.   And because she was a bit unconscious in some of this, it wasn't easy for her to deal with.

But physically, and this is more the reason why she developed cancer, she went from treating herself pretty gosh darn well when she had my bro Mike and me, but later on when she met my step father who was more than a bit controlling and domineering, she ended up smoking cigarettes A LOT, eating Tons of red meat and pork, drinking lots of coffee, as well as eating fast food more than occasionally.

For years she abused her body, and her make just couldn't take it and rebelled.

In fact, this mistreatment of her physical vehicle, also probably contributed to her minor emotionial uncenteredness.

Because, other than that, she was a very intune, loving, and tolerant person..  She was kind of the Cosmic Mother type (powerful nuturing Venus and Cancer sign energy), who took people in from anywhere and helped them to see the best within themselves...  She had a gift in this sense, to meet everyone on their level, to communicate effectively, and her Heart Chakra would just embrace people's suffering.

My friends and cousins all considered her their second Mom (or first in some cases) and friend, and many of them loved to hang out with her.

And i know from my own experiences how much an imbalanced body can contribute to imbalanced emotions, feelings and thoughts.

Its a two way dealio folks, and it seems that many emphasize one over the other.

Its like when you go for a run, your mood feels better after, or after you meditate your body often feels better...

When you eat a big meal of fast food toxic garbage, and especially if consistently, you start to feel crappy even if you are generally a positive and expansive type person.

Ever watch the movie, SuperSize Me, its a real eye opener to what extreme absuse to the body over just a month can do not only physically, but also mood and thought wise.

What an interesting path this thread has taken! Thank each of you for your replies.

The backbone is definitely central to our strength. The body will tighten around its weakest point as if it is its own enemy if you do not give it what it needs. It will use pain to get your attention every time.

And in agreement with you, Mairlyn, peace is all we really need. Peace and love, our destination, always.

Peace and love will place a special gift directly in our hands at precisely the correct time. "It" knows all and gives exactly what is needed. It never fails.

love, blink
