  Whoa there...

While i very much believe in Recoverer's experience with pain and do believe that body problems can be very much related to psychological or energetic issues...

Its really depends on the person and the conditions involved.

Basically, your body is somewhat like a car, if you rarely tune it up, put oil in it, take care of it, it will eventually break down...

But, again lets say bodies are like cars...well because of genetics and other factors, not everyone has the same type of car, and this is very important in considering the relativity of the physical equation.

Like, some are born with crappy Kia cars, and so they really need to maintain their car if they want it to run good for any length of time.

Others are born with Volvos or what not, which can take a lot of abuse without showing signs of wear and tear for quite awhile.

Others (the majority or average) are more inbetween like a Chevy, Mazda, Hyundai or something.

People that are radiantly healthy (meaning have a balance between the physical, mental, spiritual with a lot of inner love energy) don't age, and don't need to die.

But yeah, the Back is classically a body part which very easily manifests emotional, or spiritual issues.

Something like cancer while it does have an emotional, spiritual counter part, has a lot to do with diet and especially eliminations.

My Mom battled with cancer for 4 years and eventually died from it.

Emotionally, she though a very loving person, was very self sensitive sometimes, and didn't hold her emotional center very well and often let people really upset her.   She was too emotional and held onto stuff longer than it was healthy for her.   And because she was a bit unconscious in some of this, it wasn't easy for her to deal with.

But physically, and this is more the reason why she developed cancer, she went from treating herself pretty gosh darn well when she had my bro Mike and me, but later on when she met my step father who was more than a bit controlling and domineering, she ended up smoking cigarettes A LOT, eating Tons of red meat and pork, drinking lots of coffee, as well as eating fast food more than occasionally.

For years she abused her body, and her make just couldn't take it and rebelled.

In fact, this mistreatment of her physical vehicle, also probably contributed to her minor emotionial uncenteredness.

Because, other than that, she was a very intune, loving, and tolerant person..  She was kind of the Cosmic Mother type (powerful nuturing Venus and Cancer sign energy), who took people in from anywhere and helped them to see the best within themselves...  She had a gift in this sense, to meet everyone on their level, to communicate effectively, and her Heart Chakra would just embrace people's suffering.

My friends and cousins all considered her their second Mom (or first in some cases) and friend, and many of them loved to hang out with her.

And i know from my own experiences how much an imbalanced body can contribute to imbalanced emotions, feelings and thoughts.

Its a two way dealio folks, and it seems that many emphasize one over the other.

Its like when you go for a run, your mood feels better after, or after you meditate your body often feels better...

When you eat a big meal of fast food toxic garbage, and especially if consistently, you start to feel crappy even if you are generally a positive and expansive type person.

Ever watch the movie, SuperSize Me, its a real eye opener to what extreme absuse to the body over just a month can do not only physically, but also mood and thought wise.

What an interesting path this thread has taken! Thank each of you for your replies.

The backbone is definitely central to our strength. The body will tighten around its weakest point as if it is its own enemy if you do not give it what it needs. It will use pain to get your attention every time.

And in agreement with you, Mairlyn, peace is all we really need. Peace and love, our destination, always.

Peace and love will place a special gift directly in our hands at precisely the correct time. "It" knows all and gives exactly what is needed. It never fails.

love, blink
