Gratitude to Bruce and All
Dec 17th, 2005 at 11:04am

GRATITUDE
"...a basic law:
the more you practice the art of thankfulness,
the more you have to be thankful for.
This, of course, is a fact.
Thankfulness does tend to reproduce in kind.
The attitude of gratitude revitalizes the entire mental process
by activating all other attitudes, thus stimulating creativity."
(Norman Vincent Peale, American pastor, Author 1898-1993)

since we seem to be such a mental bunch here I thought that this was appropriate as a topic, especially concerning the revitalization that occurs to the mental process when feeling gratitude.

I sense I will unattach from this board soon, although I've said that before Wink and I just want to share that throughout my time here Bruce, I have always been aware of how much I appreciate your books, your wisdom, the way you wrote it so I could understand easily and for giving me a place to hang while I experimented with those ideas presented in your books, and also a place I could express myself, my concerns, and questions, and the way you reinforced me when I told you of my first retrieval. it's been a helluva ride! it's time I just started my own forum truly where I can be head honcho like u are...as aren't we all wanting to express ourselves as captain's of our own souls?
ok, I'll be in and out..don't want to make myself a big liar... Cheesy
I just love you Bruce and wanted everyone to know about your work and how much it has helped me in my personal growth.

Oh no.

Now I will be envisioning my book being published, and someone saying to me, "Hey, I read your book.  But I have a question about something".  And that's when I will freak out and go, "What?  Aaahhh!  You mean I didn't explain something good enough?!!"

If anyone knows me well enough, you know I am a procrastinating perfectionist.  Will this book ever be written now?   Cheesy

oh, it gets better..really, try this:

me: oh thank god I'm done and its perfect.
Guide: where do u think you're going?
me: out to have fun, why?
Guide: it's not perfect yet. sit down.
me: WHATDOYAMEAN ITS NOT DONE?
Guide: you just have the general outline there.
me: omygod....

repeat the upper scene about 4 times and then u realize perfection should be removed from the dictionary! Angry Grin Kiss

I like your style though Vicky..very flowy...
