hi there..yes, spirit can produce scents easily. I smelled my dog when she had crossed over. she always smelled like sulpher..very unique. she had come to say good bye. this was the first time the spirit world gave me a smell so I could tune in.

Hi Nomad-
In addition to spiritual imports to announce their presence, the flu is famous for producing smells, and certain chemical states or physical changes in the brain also can produce them. So long as the experience is reasonable  it's likely to have a spiritual basis, or be associated with the sniffles. However, if the experience is accompanied by intense anxiety, generalized fear, a sense that the whole world is looking at you and condemning you, or other major negative feelings, you might want to investigate a bit further with a neurologist.

Since my husband died.  I have several times had his smell.  I have even had his cigrette smell.  He never smoked in the house.  I had a conformation from someone who was brining me food.  I did not mention the cigrette smell he mentioned it on his own.

I am still very iffy about all of this.  Because I so need to be in touch with Michael.

HI Eileen-

You want to be in touch. You set you intention and desire on being in touch. And then when he presents himself to you you question it.

Is it that you want to communicate, or to know that Michael is near, or that he still responds to you? Or is it that you wish him to present himself to you in the manner to which you would prefer, perhaps as a ghostly image at the window, or a familiar touch?

Nomad receives all kinds of scents because he is open to receive, and then he attempts to sense the senders who sent the scents. Makes sense to me.

You get what you wish for and immediately question it because it fails to compute with respect to prior data. Might I suggest that you simply accept, and then ask some simple questions, or make simple requests, like, "If you are really Michael, then bring the oder of cigarettes to the front door, and the oder of your favorite aftershave (or whatever) to the kitchen."  Pick your own topics and methods, but capitalize on the modes of communication that he has offered you. It might just be yes and no answers, but you can get a lot of information that way. Then you can work on deepening comntact into your dreams and everyday waking states.

You too, Nomad. Since this stuff is going on, you might ask questions or make requests to get a clear image in your dreams of the one or many from whom it is coming.

You might look at it from a different perspective - Somebody is flashing a signal into your house in order to get your attention. If that's all that they can do at the moment, then you'll have to work with that signal. However, you can signal them back, and ask them to alter the signal to indicate if they've understood you. At the present moment all that's happening is that you're talking about the arrival of the signal, which is not likely to carry you very far toward responding to it. If you want a conversation, you're gonna have to respond.

Dave,

Thanks.  I would not have thought of asking for the odor to move to an area.  That is an excellent idea.

Michael died so quickly and with out any illness.  I have so many questions for Michael.  The doctors don't really know why he died.  I was told that when Michael died he fell backwards and looked like he had laid down and was sleeping.  He never had the final breadth.  So, as you can see I have many question.

I will try to be more open and keep trying with INTENT.

hi Eileen I have found that if you hold a question for spirit to answer in your mind (with feeling)
you will get the answer when u least expect it.

I get mine mostly thru dream state, where they show up and try to communicate that way. conversation is limited on the other side when interacting with the physical brain and our level of being, as language in words is a part of our 3 dimensional world, so sometimes I would get symbols, their form and body language and you can probably pick up feelings as well, as feelings is a language.

ask that question you have over and over, I feel certain you will find out. also he could still be going thru the adjustment stage, getting one's sea legs, so to speak. so if u get a "no, not yet" just try again a little later.
wishing you the best and success, remember the love, very very important to focus on the love between you.
