Hi Kyo and all,

I have read some of Hilarions commentary and it does appear very informative - I also have a peculair affinity with the teacher. I am not sure if this is the same channel however who brought forth the books - I cant recall the titles but there was one about 'other realms' and I do recall seeing a commentary about Pauls epistles in the New Testament by Hilarion....which brings my next question up about Hilarion being St. Paul in one of his past lives. If anyone can substantiate this info. much appreciated. (also is there one primary channel that the true entity who is Hilarion works with...or can other mediums channel him? - it would appear a real singular entity would pretty much choose to work with one primary channel.)

Hello Paul and all,

At his current evolutionary level, Hilarion operates as an entire Disc/Disk or Group Soul, some of whom have had lifetimes on Earth, including as Plato the Philosopher.

The book you were referring to, is titled, "Other Kingdoms" and yes, it was channeled from Hilarion, via a different channeler, Maurice B Cooke.

You can view some of the other book titles that Hilarion has channeled, from both Maurice B Cooke and Jon C Fox; as well as many excerpts & quotes from Hilarion's channelings, here on my website :

Hilarion excerpts & quotes :

Interestingly relevant to this discussion thread, is Hilarion on Hilarion (Hilarion's channeled info on himself), as well as Hilarion on Channeling (channeled info on the channeling process, and how any individual can choose to develop this skill for himself) :

I agree, don't throw your money away. Our household is fortunate in having a rriend ie entity that ha been in conversation with us for many years. He is channeled thru my wife. I asked at one time about a well known channel in the north west and he indicated this individual was not channeling. Having said this there are other essences that when asked he doesnt have a clue.
I hope this helps in your decision.

Did you ask for  others such as Elias, Kriss ?  Can you tell us the results ?

I think that if someone would ask all the most known "channellers" for it's name (Higher self, Essence etc.) that all different names would be given. Same with other type of information that would be asked.

A long while ago, Houdini (the famous magician), investigated almost all the "mediums" of the time and never found one legitimate. Today there's so many around, one can wonder about their credibility.  Then there's will alway be some people in for a buck.

I am not saying that there are no legitimate channellers around, I just don't think we should so easily trust them.

I'm still amazed at the ease that people will believe someone without verifying more. People take more time to get informed in buying a car than "trusting" a channel.

Elias as an example doesn't like to "read minds". In other words, he doesn't like to be tested by someone to see if he is realy aware of the person.

Just my opinion here!

Very well said.  If someone was Plato or Socrates, they should be able to provide information, possibly in their ancient tongue as to something that would corroborate their former identity.  I always laughed a bit when I heard from Elias' people that he was Oscar Wilde in a past life.  If anyone has ever read Wilde, or his ways of speaking,  well........lets just say Wilde's wit and prose was completely different than Elias.

Now one can say "well, I was Plato, (Wilde, whomever), but, um, you see the process of joining my disc just, um, er, well it lets me know I was them, but I can't recall their specific memories or speak/write like them."

Hmmm......anyone who would say this would be BSing big time in 'ol DocM's book.

Now, to get serious.  If we can all tap the great all that is, we may merge with another's thoughts out there while meditating.  This may confuse some, and they may say "ah ha!  I am that person (or was)."  Not true.

I have seen Kyo's posts and find them full of love, intelligence and wisdom.  If Hillarion is false, then the person channeling will have much to answer for.  But Kyo approaches his understanding with an open heart.  I therefore think in the end, if we all are open to the possibilities, then advice from channelers won't truly hurt us.

I am not passing a hard judgement on those who believe, just questionning.

I disagree with you, in part.  Of course they are all appealing, give out a very nice message etc. The problem is that you are liable to "accept" certain beliefs that will affect your outlook on things. You lose your power of discrimination and give it to the channel.  This is like following a guru.

An open heart is a fragile heart!  We can read and listen but never forget to discriminate and trust ourselves, not a channel, not a guru without checking his credentials.

I like Bruce's position for this.  He is the first one who found it hard to believe his early experiences, and I think that his position is to prove it to YOURSELF.

In reading about Seth, he reacted with humor when chalenged. I'm thinking about a Psychatrist who attended and asked very difficult question in his field.

Although I cannot evaluate Hillarion and others, it appears to me that they are not very open to be tested and chalenged. This is what's worry me.

Sometime we WANT to believe TOO MUCH.

thank god for laughter or we might all go insane Doc. I'm the one who repeated the info that Elias had once been OW. really, it doesn't matter at all about past lives, it only matters the now moment in the end, because your now moment becomes your moment upon transition.
however, I do believe Elias and he's not my guru. I just trust my feelings and I cannot be mislead, only if I let myself be mislead by giving my power to another and placing them above me. a type of error that leads one to become abused. Elias message is that your power belongs to you to create your personal reality, he does not want your respect but I supose anyone could be adulated or worshiped mistakenly.
Reading someone else like Elias or any author or channeller is not going to cut the mustard, it's just a way to get yourself some ideas to fly on. so I take Bruce's ideas, and what he has said is take what is there from books, read them all, but just take what resonates for you and throw out the rest, thats what makes us individuals.
the reason I can see Elias as being a part of a disc thing which contains the personality of Wilde within it.
after having read Bruce's vision of the disc, there could be thousands within the disc, each an individual comprised of a personality with it's own quirks, it's own signature. I can also see how we could all be like actors on a stage, and when a personality no longer suits us, we could throw that off and be a different personality entirely. individuality in that sense doesn't mean a whole lot if you've got 99 people inside of you and they are all getting along. of course I don't expect to be understood. its words only.
summing up, channellers, everyone u meet, u just throw tidbits in a cooking pot and stir, if it smells bad, toss it out and begin again. we certainly can't blame the channeller or the entity for what we elected to put into our soup pot.

ps. Doc, don't go away. I need you. love, alysia

I agree fully with laughter, humour...LOL!  I'm very happy to find it here in your replies.  When there's humour and laughters, then we can talk openly about ANY subject and it becomes a learning process for all, no matter if we all disagree

I also agree that we can find information anywhere, even from a channeller as Elias, as long as WE SORT it out to take what WE want.  Discrimination LOL!

It seems to me that your are justifying Elias in the above quote. Correct me if I'm wrong.   ???

You are explaining why Elias cannot answer, for example, questions on Oscar Wilde. For myself this makes me suspicious of Elias.

Agreed!  That's what I think also. If the answer (s) of a channellers are suspicious, then it smells.

The only problem, for me, is how quickly people will accept a channel and put so much trust in him/her that they will find excuses for them.

Very well put Matthew.

u asked: It seems to me that your are justifying Elias in the above quote. Correct me if I'm wrong
____

nah, I'm not justifying him. I just feel gratitude to him.  I've gotten certain things from the readings, one of which I got in my own meditation once so it was like confirming my soul's messge to myself..hearing it from another. the message was simply, if you are doing something in life, like suppose you have this job that you hate, but u think u must go there every day because the pay is good...its common sense that you should find enjoyable work..even if the pay is lower than the job you hate. Theres books out there like "what color is your parachute?" they say the same thing. Elias was saying it was ok to enjoy your life and just walk away from something that was killing your spirit. I had done a service for 6 years, but it took all the life out of me as the pay was so good I thought security was money, so I took from his message what I needed, and I seemed to need permission to have a nervous breakdown..lol..it was just my journey, a choice: happiness or money?
although u can have both. I know this now. sometimes we just get stuck, don't know when to move on, take a chance, to open up to something different.
nowdays, its to each his own. you'll know which book to read..you'll just go right to it without thinking and it will be right. it doesn't matter if it's channelled or not, it's the content, whether it resonates with you.
I know I'm not answering your question but oh well! thanks for the chance to blab...

That, I fully agree with you!  It's what resonate with you that's important.

I just push it a little further to trusting yourself.  Not needing someone else to confirm what your experience is.
