Finally, a successful trip to F27
Nov 21st, 2005 at 4:40pm

It worked!  I managed to roll out of my body by generating enough vibrational sensations.  After this, I begin swing myself over the edge of the bed and start to drop through the floor.  I drop through into the darkness of the void as I call it and drift around a while.

At first, I hear only silence, but start picking up on vague packets of thought that I have little interest in but I have thought about in the past.  They are hard to recall, but one thought wave was about the Maury Show which I thought was irrelevant to my explorations so I kindly asked it to leave me in peace.

I float in the void, in a realm beyond time, for what seems a while and recall the journey I must take out of the M-band noise and patiently wait to clear the noise zone.  I finally make it out and start seeing glimpses of a blue sky, then above me, I see some very featureless window frames that are colored simple black, but a blue sky with two moons lies beyond the void.  I eagerly fly up almost automatically and I at first belive these moons to be suns and don't look at them, but soon enough, I look and see that they are two moons.  I float towards them just for fun but then I hit the ground of this world I have entered and see that I am inside some sort of park and a shipyard is off to my east.  After looking around, I find that this park is a Recreation of Mile Square Park, located in Fountain Valley, California.

For a moment, I feel like I am losing my grip on reality and the world feels like it is fading out on me, but I call in for more energy to my body in the physical and stabalize my link into this realm.

I spot two or three ducks walking on the ground -- one is a Malard unafraid of anything, and I see more ducks around the area.  Looking at the park, my intelectual part of my mind takes over and I see that this park is assembled from parts of my memory and I belive I am in the F27 realm.  I start walking towards a golf course surrounded by a chainlink fence, and a lady comes towards me, as what I belive to be guide.  I ask, "So, am I in the Focus 27 realm?"  She replys, "Yes, you are".  I am happy that I have made it consciously.  I tell her that I have to leave soon and I want to leave a sort of beacon to return to my place in F27.  I ask if she can help and she immediately gives me the most loving hug and I start laughing at her sollution to my request.  Soon after, I am back in my waking consciousness and the full memory of my trip is stored in nearly full detail.

Lucky you !

My only OBE (if it was real) was just me getting out of bed, walking towards the door and realising that I could'nt go throug it like a ghost.

Then everything vanished and my counsciousness was back to sleep.

Sad

Keep working you might get interesting information from these inhabitants next time !

Try what I do, and just let yourself fall through the floor and see where you end up.  In my case, I ended up in the place I described.

In my experience, Robert Monroe's book Journey's Out of the Body is what truly opened the door for me.  It's good reading and I would highly recommend it, but as they say in Reading Rainbow "You don't have to take MY word for it."

Many people might say that they envy me or call me lucky, but they should not envy me at all, because at one time, I never even cared about this OBE buisness and was indifferent towards afterlife exploration like many of you probably were at one time.

That changed very rapidly when I found Bruce Moen's little site and later stumbled upon Journeys Out of the Body. That book accelerated my learning considerable and it started happening on it's own.

Hi Steve,
reports of first success are always very special. They make clear that there is no division in those who can do it and those who don't and will never be able to. So this indicates that it's possible with practice or spontaneous and, I think, it has a great effect for one's life.
"Journeys Out The The Body", Monroes first book of his trilogy, impressed me very much too. It was about 20 years ago and I had read much esoteric stuff but had enough of mysticism, strange symbols, initiation rites and secret brotherhoods. Monroe's book was so different. The style and content makes me really believe in what I read though it was nearly unbelievable and because of that credibility I found in it it was one of the most influential books for me.
 So, happy exploring!

me too Spooky. read Monroe's books, all of them back in the 80's. need to re-read them, always get more that way.  anyhoo, I was reading Bob and just sailing along with him enjoying the stories. at that point I was trying weekly or even nightly to get out of my body, but only got to the vibratory stage..like one of those rocket ships kicking up dust and power but no lift off! whaaa!!!  thats a little aside the point though..one time picked up Monroe again and read about him moving thru the darkness and a little curl was attached to his leg? ha! imagine his surprise..what's this clinging to me as I am on my journey? well, to me that was a retrieval, as the curl soon enough blinked out into what was supposed to be a BST area.
I pondered and pondered on this incident, thinking, what the hey? how is this possible, and what did the curl think Bob was? a taxi service?
the act of pondering on those circumstances impressed my higher self enough to allow me my first retrieval experience in an obe. a retrieval totally unlike Monroe's little curl clinging on. it took 20 years to figure out it was a retrieval I had been initiated into. am I slow? nah, I don't think so. I just had some living to do first, raise kids up, that sort of thing.
just sitting here pondering lately how we can trigger these sorts of experiences and it appears having a deep and lengthy desire to see whether something is "true" is what triggers the experiences, along with my other question I had "could I be assisting, also like Bob? could I get a hitchhiker too? actually would I even want a hitchhiker? probably not, but I think Bob handled it so well! all he said was something to the effect "scuse me, can I help you? what are u doing stuck to my energy field? the curl is like ahh, is that ok? oh shucks, ok, u can ride along....thats when the next time Bob looked, the curl had disappeared into a BST which fit him.
that story just made me have a big smile for some reason.  love, alysia

Yeah, Alysia, back then when I read it I thought again and again, "This is weird! But it's that kind of weird impossible to be a cooked up story!"

It must be a very delighting experience for you when you heard about retrievals (the time they became more popular, mostly through Bruce) and then you could definitely call your own experiences "retrieval", to get it in a category or order and have a name for it, ducks in a row you know?

yes spooky, it's nice to have a word like retrieval to try and understand something that happened so long ago yet leaves a lasting impression. I came here and found people discussing it!
then I noticed a few people had these experiences spontaneously also. I was always glad to get encouragement here. I had thought I had failed the test until I learned all you have to do is get their attention, so it was a relief to remember I did get his attention. love, alysia

Steve,

Congratulations!   It certainly sounds like you experienced what many term an OBE--the vibration, the void, the journey.  In some ways your experience resembles a lucid dream I once had. So I have a few questions for you.

(1) From my reading of RAM, the M band is an indistinguishable cacaphony of sound.  Yet you were able to distinguish "pockets" of thought.  Why do you think you went through the M-band?

(2) The unconscious simulation of a local earth park sounds like a dream-like construct, not an astral territory.   I once had a lucid dream in which I recreated The Boston Common area of Boston, MA at noon.  I smelt car fumes, heard a cacophany of honking cars, and saw the scene in great detail.  The whole time I was aware that my body was "back" in my bedroom.  But I'm clear that it was just a dream.   Similarly, on Robert Bruce's site, some OBE adepts claimed to have deliberately entered the world of fictional novels via an OBE.  But they were clear that the characters they encountered were mere figments of the imagination.  What makes you think your simulated park area near a shipyard was part of a real astral territory?  I of course realize that ultimately some of Focus 27 can be a construct from our thoughts.

(3) I have not heard about the presence of two moons in Focus 27.  Their presence suggests a world that is not terribly bright.  I assume from your silence that this "world" was not brighter than our sun like many travellers to Focus 27 allege.  So what makes you think you were in Focus 27?  True, the lady said "Yes" when you asked her about this.  But why did take her word for it as if she were a real and truthful spirit rather than a deceptive spirit or, more likely, a construct of your imagination like the park/shipyard that mimicked the earth park?  Did you have a clear and specific preconception of Focus 27 that she could tune in to?

I eager await your future OBE visits there.  Perhaps you can visit the Hall of Knowledge and gain specific verifications about earth science, history, or specific individuals.  Or prehaps you can explore some advanced orientation classes and discover insights that can be put to practical use here and might therefore amount to some form of verification of the reality of that realm.  I hope this marks the beginning of a grand adventure for you.   Good luck on your continued exploration.

Berserk,
I was well aware of the situation, and I sensed nothing that was endangering me.  I will not let my fear of the unknown scare me away, because, as said by Monroe but not in these exact words, "Fear is a great barrier to human progress."

Before I arrived at F27, I had a hunch I was there already.  I just have a habbit of asking for directions and didn't see any harm in doing so.  Besides, the love she gave off can never be faked, and it is not like I am selling my soul to her or some Devil at all.  Still, I do not know the full nature of the lady and she could have been a projection, a helper, or even my female self, I have to get more info.

Moons mean many possitive things to me deep down inside such as tranquility and peace as well as SCI-FI's exploration into new worlds.  Someone else may fear seeing the moon in sky as a sign of darkness.  What matters is what they mean to me on the personal level.  Remember, in F27 your personal space can take on any appearance you desire too so this could be my sub-conscious generating it.  Besides, I didn't say the place didn't have a sun.  In actuality, the twin moons generated plenty of light and seemed to me, symbolic.  What I remember is the suns morping into moons because of my concern that the suns would hurt my eyes.

With all due respect, I do not wish to go exploring, suspecting the worst, as going in with fears will generate less than desirable experiences.

Finally, about the M-Band noise, I believe that I am proficent at sealing it out during trips out of the body so as to not become disturbed by the chorus of "voices".

Edit:  Also, please note that the shipyard vanished quite rapidly as I arrived and there was nothing but mostly natural surrounding left over, and no streets or roads.  As I may have mentioned earlier, I had a hunch that this realm was assembled from contents in my memory that do not exist in the real life Mile Square Park, and was able see this by observation.

Sincerely,
Steve U.

Steve,

After reviewing your reply, I very much doubt that you reached Focus 27.  Not brighter than the sun, as many report.  And no astral landmarks characteristic of Focus 27.   Remember, when it comes right down to it, Focus 27 is just a construct to focus wannabe locales reached in response to TMI CDs.  There is no guarantee that wannabe explorers actually "go" to the same plane.

Perhaps, your future explorations will clarify this matter and convince me otherwise.
