F27 reception area - "annihilation chamber?'
Nov 20th, 2005 at 7:40am

I wonder... if F27 is the universal "reception area" for the newly dead, presumably there are a number of possibilities (and permutations thereof) that the recently deceased "soul" can choose from...
From what I've read, F27 is the "staging area" for eventual shipment to a BST, where you will spend the next 97 quadrillion years, plus eternity...
Now me, I could easily have another 40-50 years of life here in C1 left to live. Who knows what I'll want then... my guess is I'll be VERY tired of conscious existence by then, ready for blessed oblivion. (Hell, I could see myself choosing the "null" option even if I died tomorrow...)
Socrates - who is regarded as one of the wisest men who ever lived - noted that oblivion would be a blessing (he said this in his "Apology", after he had been sentenced to death by the council of Athens for "corrupting the youth.)
Well, if oblivion was good enough for a man like Socrates, it may well be good enough for a common fool like me...
Does F27 contain, among other things... an "annihilation chamber" for those world-weary souls who are tired of consciousness, have had all the experiences they want to have (or missed unique opportunities to have experiences they DID want) and don't want to sweat out eternity in a BST? (This would be strictly an OPTION, not REQUIRED for anyone who wanted to go on experiencing/"living"...)

Well I wish for eternal life so I wouldn't chose the disintegration chamber.

But it has been reported that there is a way to commit suicide as a soul. Your energies are then recycled and a new entity will emerge.

That's what I heard so it's worth as much as anyone's guess.

*****************
That might make sense...
Those who claim the soul is "indestructible" base
their claim on the fact that energy cannot be destroyed.
This is true... but suppose the PATTERN that said energy is in (i.e. "your soul") CAN be disrupted and eliminated... the energy would then be available to make another conscious entity, I imagine.
Just like matter cannot be destroyed, but artifacts and organisms... PATTERNS that the matter is in... can be destroyed. The matter itself gets recycled, as we all learned in high school science class...
And, if you know anything about physics, you know that matter is simply a form of "frozen" energy which is convertible to pure energy (E=MC2.)
So, by logic... the soul (being a PATTERN rather than a "fundamental unit" of something) can be obliterated. Cool!!!
This might be worth getting the Hemi-Sync stuff
and learning to OBE and explore, so I can research this possibility and learn all I can about it. Perhaps, I could even have arrangements made on the "other side" to have it done immediately after I die in C1! (However, I'd need some guarantee that it really WOULD be eternal sleep for me, and not just a "bust-down" to a lower animal or the plant kingdom or something.)
I KNOW I'm not the only one who recoils at the thought of "FOREVER, and you can't do nothing about it, you're STUCK with it..." My dad has expressed similar sentiments. This life is all he wants, he's told me that many times since I was a kid.
Ohterwise. am I the only one, who finds this idea attractive? After all, FOREVER is a mighty long time.
Maybe too long...

Yeah but there are so much things to do and learn.

The day I can say I tried everything and learned everything is not going to be tomorrow.

Then again even if you learn and do all you wanted to do, people tend to like todo it again, beat their friends at old games, return to old vacation spots that were nice, etc.

I recommand you return to school part time.

Try philosophy for exemple and I'm sure you'll wish you had eternity to find answers to these questions.

Anyway, maybe it is too personnal but why do you think your existance is enough ?

Philosophy?

Raphael, philosophy is my meat and drink... has
bean for a long time.
But most of it is a dead end, as I'm sure you're
aware.
"What is the sound of one hand clapping"?
"If a tree fell in a forest with nobody around for
a thousand miles, and it landed on a mime... would
anybody care?" (I owe that one to Gary Larson and his "Far Side"... the greatest comic strip of all time, IMHO..!)
"Is piety pious because the gods love it, or do the gods love piety because it is pious?"
In other words, UNANSWERABLES.
"Philosophy, is like a jock on a cereal box" as that old song says. It leads one to nowhere in a big hurry, in spite of its seductions...
Without a body, what would I do with my time? What would I be good for, if I couldn't even manipulate my environment?
Except maybe spend eternity chasing my tail, philosophizing?
Even reincarnation has its problems. Call this silly if you will... but what if my next time around was as a woman?
I'm not the LEAST bit curious as to what pregnancy or childbirth feels like (it gives me the willies just to think about it, frankly) and I REALLY don't want to know what it's like to have sex with a... MAN. (Why would anyone? Sometimes, it amazes me that our species manages to breed... imagine being a woman, french-kissing some hairy, smelly, fat dude with a BEARD. Makes me wanna puke just thinking about it... but it happens every day in our world. Weird, huh?)
Here's the kicker... something you'll AGREE with, Raphael.
Have you never had the alarm clock go off on Monday morning... and wish you could just heave the thing out the window, go back to sleep... and NEVER wake up?
Just to forget about the bills... forget about your sh!tty job, and your stupid boss, and the clowns you have to work with. No more sh!t/shower/shave routine, no more gobbling down your breakfast while glancing at the clock... no more rushing to beat traffic or swearing impotently at the traffic in your way -
ALL SO YOU DO IT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. Just like a hamster on a treadmill, or an idiot on a pogo stick in a pool of quicksand...
Sleep (when you're tired) is the most delicious thing in the world... is it not? (ESPECIALLY in the morning!!!)
Can you deny it?

Think of the meaning of this simple lyric.

Row row row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
Life is but a dream

Indeed, or this is what we think for now. The fact is that "most" is not "all". Thus there are paths to explore.

Good question. Thoug people claiming to communicate with the afterlife and exploring it are reporting that can have a body to manipulate your surroundings.

We think like this because we are men. If you were born ar a woman your genetic would tell you otherwise. As for pregnancy I think it must be cool to feel something kicking and moving inside you. There is a certain bond that is created that we, as men, will never get to experience.

Frankly, no.
First of all I hate alarm clocks so most of the time I wake up when I feel like it. Secondly when it happens I wish I could have slept more but not forever.

I'm not living what you are living though. I like to follow the satanic principle saying :"Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself "
So when I truly not like something I change my life.
Currently I am not ready to work seriously in a big job. I simply do not know what to do. So I'm a student learning psychology. After that ? I'll try to go for a master degree in philosophy. Then I don't know, I could be a philoophy teacher  Grin

And if I don't like it I could always try something else.

That's my view of the problem. If something is bothering you, stop whining and fix it. For your job, you just have to see a career counselor after all.

Not at all, I love to dream. I always have weird dreams with a lot of action in them.

B-man, B-man, B-man,

Have you stopped and thought that maybe your current incarnation was, in effect a walk into the annihilation chamber?  You may have said; "wipe me clean, let me start again."  According to many new agers, life here is like that.  Shrink your awareness down, give yourself a new identity, start from scratch.  Learn everything over again, because it is truly new to your baby consciousness here...

I'm not sure what my take on eternity is.  I think our souls evolve and at some point are so very different than what we see here, that we find new tasks and interests.  Life and thought are too interesting to throw it away.  Look at you, posting here, reading all sort of doom and gloom websites, etc.  This is an interest for you - your mind is a dynamic system, interested in whatever you set your intention on.

Feast on the opportunities being alive and conscious have for you.  Don't dwell on the negative.

Hi, Chumley,

In your third posting, above, you say ".... I'm not the LEAST bit curious as to what pregnancy or childbirth feels like (it gives me the willies just to think about it, frankly)..."

What would you say and what would your reaction be if you found out through past life regression that you had been a woman?
It`s not a bit unusual for any of us to have been the opposite sex in previous lives and you have probably already experienced what you are decrying now.
More importantly you may well have been your mother`s mother in a previous life. How does that strike you?
All combinations of relationships (usually associated with relatives in our current lives) may have been involved in the past.

As of yet, during my past life regressions I have always been male, but my lady partner has been both male and female. She was a daughter of mine in one of my regressions too.

Have a read of books by Dr Brian Weiss. They are fascinating!

Best wishes, roger Smiley

No, no, no. When a soul ends up in a BST, they automatically go there and not from F27 but from right after death. Like attracts like and they'd never make it to F27 that way.  You make it sound like there's a bus loading for the BST's.

Peace,
Mairlyn
