Please listen to yourselves..."Where is Bruce?Oh Bruce we love you!Did you sleep well?I am so sorry your hair is sore..."
Do you think Bruce is your guru?No wonder that he doesn't post often, you are just a bunch of fruitcakes...Go and ask Alysia and Gordon about their divine experiences... ; D They are great tale tellers!

It happens to the best of us, doesn't it?

I actually love fruitcake myself....but I especially love those holiday cakes with a little whisky in them....

Pablo:

I never met Bruce, but my guess is that he doesn't
consider himself to be anybody's Guru.

Gurus don't tend to talk about things such as disc/higher selfs and spirit guides, because people will rely on these things instead of them. Or in other words, it is really bad for a Guru's business, when people make contact with their higher self and guides.

You're right about not relying on Gurus. But considering that you don't know which direction to wave your magic wand in, you clearly have figured out only half of the puzzle.

P.S. Unless you've made contact with your higher self and guides, you aren't in a position to comment about them.

I was thinking of the  ongoing discussion about peer monitors for content etc. With respect to how we deport ourselves, our peer monitors are our gurus, in the sense that they lead us away from errors (things we do that are inclined to produce negative karmic results) and toward useful activities. After all, none of us really want to look like... err how to express it ... the south end of a north bound horse. But, alas, some things just sort of slip by, and voila! the damage is done.

However, Pablo, you suggest that someone should get a life "for Christ's sake". I'd be interested in just what you mean when you use the word "Christ". Is that your guru?  Or is the late Sr Escobar, esteemed purveyor of nose candy, your guru?

In fact, I kinda wonder what you mean when you use that word as well.

Do enlighten us.

dave

Get a Life???

What are YOU doing here then, Pabs?
I see only two possibilities.
#1. You're a big, studly know-it all. BUT...
A big, bad, studly know-it-all like you
should be too BUSY (slapping away the queue
of coeds and bikini models trying to unzip his
Dickies) to be hanging around with a bunch of
fruitcakes like us.
#2. You're a sad, lonely geek with too much time
on his hands, you've seen all the free porn sites and now you're looking to take out your frustration on somebody from the safety of your mommy's computer.
I'm guessing that maybe the first description
doesn't match your life that well?
Me, I'm with option #2...
