motion machine, and "spiritual" energies.... This indirectly relates to the Afterlife, and jibes well with a lot of the info given in Bruce's books, though worded differently... Except for the Disc concept, there is very little in Bruce's or Bob's books which i haven't already found in Cayce's material, or intuited from such. This is what i'm talking about when i mentioned info that correlates.... This often comes from a more universal, and thus more accurate Source.
This might be interesting to some here. I'm complete fascinated by the whole subject! A couple of engineers went to Edgar Cayce for help with building a perpetual motion machine... They got more than they bargained for.
One of the engineers, then 35 year old Marion L. Stansell an engine mechanic from Alabama met Cayce briefly and became interested in the "the Work". This guy has an interesting story. Stansell had a vision while stationed in France during World War 1. He was in a hospital recovering from mustard gas poisoning, then contacted a nasty flu virus, suffered heart failure and died. During his NDE, a spirit guide offered to escort him to the "place" for those recently deceased (The Park?), instead of going on this "astral journey" he told the guide he wanted to talk to Jesus. He supposedly met Jesus and pleaded with him to go back to earth to serve God. Christ said you can go back, and that he would be given formula which would ultimately save the planet from certain evironmental destruction.
The doctors declared him dead and after 20 minutes of not breathing he awoke and not only alive but apparently fully recovered from BOTH the mustard gas poisoning and the flu virus.
After meeting Cayce, he got a physical reading which said that his body had undergone a miraculous physical healing, and that he had considerable psychic talents and that through dreams and visions he would be able to see blueprints for a revolutionary type of motor. According to the readings the motor was designed already by former governor of New York De Witt Clinton who had been the prime creative mind behind developing the Erie Canal and other large scale engineering tasks. De Witt was in the afterlife during all this.
The Source said that Stansell could (or needed to) use the trance advice of the readings to get it fully manifested in working condition. Over a period of time 21 readings were given on the P. M. machine. The readings said, "[The] motor...will develop power on its own action," Source continued, "The idea and the plans, as have been worked out are the better application of the created [or universal] energy."
What it looked like and how it works: Consisted of a large metal tank containing water in which a drum containing compressed air or vapor would be suspended. Inside and around the drum were metal sprockets as the readings called "sprankles". A "cam shaft" of sorts running through the center of the drum connected to a caterpillar type drive shaft which would be at the top of the tank.
Positively charged particles expanding in the bottom of the vapor-filled drum would contract as they rose to meet the negatively charged particles at the top, causing a rotational force within the drum, acting much like the spin of the earth, once set in motion would run until physically stopped.
The Source warned all involved that if they wanted to build this, to succeed they would have to be of the right motivation (spiritual, not looking just for material gain) and that there would need to be a balance or cooperation with the inner self.
The principles behind the motor: "Life in all its manifestations is vibration," "Electricity is vibration," The quality or "wave length" of vibration determines how it acts in a given environment. The Source also states, "Vibration that is creative is one thing and vibration that is destructive is another...yet they may be from the same source, as in the electrical forces...in the human body...Remember, life is vibration, and so is mind, so is matter."
According to the Source, "electricity...is the same energy...as that called God...." Vibration that is creative rather than destructive is of the same energy of life itself. In the physical body, it is the lowest vibration electrically which gives life and the fast vibration that destroys.
Cayce explained how one vibration affects another, as seen in the creation of chemical compounds, or colors on a painter's pallet. Same for sound, just as 2 substances can be combined to form a 3rd, so can sound vibrations can be combined into octaves creating its own harmony (or lack!).
Cayce even related this all vibrational concept of life to time saying, "History will be seen to come in cycles...as in the case of energy, for there is seen the relativity of space and force as it is begun, and as it continues to vibrate...When it vibrates in the same vibration, it shows as the same thing." Or in other words time/history has its own specific range of vibrations that exist relative to other ranges of vibrations (and consciousnesses), but time in one evironment (i.e. the physical vs the astral?) would not be the same as it might exist in another dimension where the vibrational range is different or subject to a different set of laws.
Stansell and Tim Brown (the other main engineer) realized that this was similar to Einsteins relativity theories in a way, except that in the readings this first Vibrational movement or First Cause was enacted or created by God.
The readings stated that the only difference (energy wise) between what could be considered a spiritual force or energy and that of a material was the polarity involved. In the spiritual realms all energy was said to be positively charged/expanding wherein the physical it was combination of negative and positive charges. Negatively charged vibrational energy contracts. Even people though being made up of both positive and negative charges, could be said to be positive or negative because of the balance towards one or the other.
The Source goes on to say that highly developed people, or groups in sincere prayer could raise the "atomic vibrations that make for those positive forces as bring Divine Force in [to] action in the material plane, those that are destructive [negative dense vibrations?] are broken down by the raising of that vibration."
The Source considered these concepts crucial to understand in light of how the Stansell motor works. Because just as positively charged energy expands, negatively charged contracts, or draws positively charged particles to it...(perhaps also meaning that darkness seeks to become Light filled?).
The action between these two forces was described as Gravity, or that in which, "everything...is drawn to a common....[Gravity is but] the centralization of the vibratory force [on the material plane]." The Source further suggested that what was commonly understood as the magnetic attraction that a compass needle had to earth's positive pole, was one and the same thing as gravity. The Earths rotation or "radial force" was the result of gravity too, or the displacement of "compelling forces".
The sprockets in the drums were just tuning forks of a sort which transmitted the vibrational level or energy of the vapor in the drum and acted on the gasses trapped inside, causing them to alterately rise to the top and sink to the bottom. In creating this machine, man was doing a microcosm creative act akin to what the Creator did when creating the Universe, creating and outpouring the first directive vibrational energy (Positive force!).
The Source mentioned that we could alter the atomic structure of metals (or a certain combination of metals) so that it would overcome gravitic force.
And it mentioned that certain highly developed people could by the control of their own radiation/energies and through merely concentrated thought or thinking could raise the vibrational level of matter to change or alter its composition.
The machine was never fully developed that we know of, mainly because of the exacting engineering requirements as stated by the Source were to difficult to acheive with the amount of money and know how the then "team" could come up with. Plus, to get it started was a process in itself, you had to assemble the motor parts in proper order while submerged in water, maintaining the the right pressure in the drum. And all of this had to be done in the correct sequence and accomplished in a relatively small window of time to prevent the mixing of negatively and positively charged gases in the drum. To make it even harder, the readings stated that the drum had to be put into motion when the motor was precisely set along an east/west axis line...probably because of the Earths own field of positively and negatively charged fields would interfere with the whole process.

Sounds somewhat similar to Bruces or Dr. Wilsons Electromagnetic theory of Gravity, except that this was given in the 1920's!!!
