Quote:White Feather,
You can choose how to feel. I would advise that when you feel anxious or restless that you try using some meditation cds of some kind which use verbal guidance to bring you to the state of mind you desire. As you practice with these you will become more accustomed to these more positive feelings and you will be able to access them more easily when you choose.
Some negative feelings are useful and necessary at times but you can entrain yourself to have a positive view of your world. If you have an actual chemical imbalance in your brain causing anxiety, medication can actually be very very helpful for many people.

I agree and very much disagree. I wouldn't advise going down the medication route, i've been there, done that, and know others who have...
It creates more of an imbalance in the long run, and there has been a spike in suicide rates among teenagers who are on this Corporate/Capitialistic pushed poisions...and it is all about profit, profit, and more profit.. Most of these pharmacuetical companies do not want you to get better, they want you to keep buying their product..they want a life long customer so they can make more and more money.... If our medical system in the u.s. especially wasn't so corrupt, then why are these drugs so goshdarn expensive... its ridiculous and getting worse everyday... and of course they trying to keep people from getting cheaper stuff in Cananda...
In essence, how can a pill cure or even treat something which often has its roots in a body/mind/ and spiritual imbalance...
It often needs to be treated on this holistic trinity. I know, i did it without any of this crap...
And what really interesting, is after i started to take prozac for a few month (stopped after this), is when i developed moderate psoriasis, and a really bad hive problem which would happen anytime my body became warm or hot...
My body was trying to elminate these extremely acid toxins through my sweat glands, and these toxins being so acid would quite literally irritate my whole skin system.. It wasn't only the prozac, it was immense stress, really crappy acid forming diet, spinal misalignments, etc. too, but it seems like the poisonous prozac was a catalyst for this to get much worse in my system.
If you have any questions about healing yourself from a holistic standpoint, p.m. me and i will give you some suggestions and book recommendations.
With Love,
Justin
