I agree with Matthew's two posts... When i feel down, and need a little boost of PUL, i go and lay down to meditate (my pref. since young) and i try to remember a time where i felt really happy, or felt really loved...
It could be anything, and i focus on this and remember the feelings back, and i fill my heart with this Love/Joy energy, say thanks, and then project it out into the world, imagining a brilliant White Light energy surrounding me, and the whole Universe.
If this is done enough, it should help you to feel a little more love within... Sometimes when we feel this lack within, it means that we need to give love out more to others in our everyday life.... Its a like attract like energy system. If you find yourself thinking judgmental, critical, angry, or unloving thoughts about anyone or anything in your life...then just simply stop, take a breath and reexamine why you are feeling this, tell yourself that you don't need to feel this way about any other aspect of Creation which is very much a part of you.
Or sometimes there is a body imbalance which is contributing to a depressive like mental/emotional state... I know because i went through this for many, many years. I found the Cayce readings which talk a lot about holistic health and approached people as a mind, body, and soul... I started to follow the various dietary, exercise, and attitude suggestions and with a little meditation, and being more loving to others more consistently, i don't have any depressive or suicidal thoughts like when younger... This isn't to say i don't occasionally get a little sad, angry, or frustrated, cause i do. i just get over it much faster and i'm much less attached to my emotional reactions...and overall i have a very positive attitude. I really hope, and i'm seeing you being helped according to your highest good and Higher Self plan for you.
