We all feel this way at times, White Feather.  It is part of being human.  Our rational side can not always will the sadness away.  Sometimes, we are meant to wrestle with it, suffer, grow, and then find the love.

If it is of any help, White feather, I think I have felt this way too.  Your rational mind can understand the need for love, the ideas on this board.  Sometimes, however we have our own inner issues to work out.  And so, we may have unease.  Anxiety.  Depression, whatever.

We say to ourselves "but wait, I feel like I understand that love is the answer."  However, until we work through our own situations and issues, we can not rationally place ourselves in a state of bliss.

Only through our day to day lives, what some may call "right action, right vision and right thinking" can we eventually reach these stages of enlightenment.

 Dear WhiteFeather,

I agree with Matthew's two posts...  When i feel down, and need a little boost of PUL, i go and lay down to meditate (my pref. since young) and i try to remember a time where i felt really happy, or felt really loved...

It could be anything, and i focus on this and remember the feelings back, and i fill my heart with this Love/Joy energy, say thanks, and then project it out into the world, imagining a brilliant White Light energy surrounding me, and the whole Universe.

If this is done enough, it should help you to feel a little more love within...  Sometimes when we feel this lack within, it means that we need to give love out more to others in our everyday life....  Its a like attract like energy system.  If you find yourself thinking judgmental, critical, angry, or unloving thoughts about anyone or anything in your life...then just simply stop, take a breath and reexamine why you are feeling this, tell yourself that you don't need to feel this way about any other aspect of Creation which is very much a part of you.

Or sometimes there is a body imbalance which is contributing to a depressive like mental/emotional state...  I know because i went through this for many, many years.  I found the Cayce readings which talk a lot about holistic health and approached people as a mind, body, and soul...  I started to follow the various dietary, exercise, and attitude suggestions and with a little meditation, and being more loving to others more consistently,  i don't have any depressive or suicidal thoughts like when younger...  This isn't to say i don't occasionally get a little sad, angry, or frustrated, cause i do.  i just get over it much faster and i'm much less attached to my emotional reactions...and overall i have a very positive attitude.

I really hope, and i'm seeing you being helped according to your highest good and Higher Self plan for you.

With Love,
Justin

White Feather,

I think this is very important, what Justin has said about not being attached to our emotional reactions. We can recognize our reactions and accept them and accept ourselves for having them.

But we can also realize that it is our choice to attach to them or not.  It is okay to let them go, and it becomes easier as you progress in your life to do this, so just realize that it is all part of your learning process.

love, blink

Hey,

I have nothing to add, i feel others have done so well already plus I'm not sure what to say except were all here listening to you and I hope you feel better soon. I am sending out love to you as I'm sure others are, hope you are feeling better and/or can find out the reasons for this feeling.
