Meditation on god
Oct 4th, 2005 at 6:44pm

This is the story of seeing my brother who had died.  I was still a christian at the time.  I had had a good experience at the church, so i decided to do some god chanting on my own at home.  Having used marijauna yrs ago as a teenager, i thought that it might be a good relaxer in prep for this.  I asked another christian, who was a user to get some for me.

I took a couple of tokes, sat on the edge of my bed and began chanting 'god' slowly and deeply, over and over.  Focussing in an outward upward direction to where god is generally thought of as dwelling.  After a while, i felt a rage come over me.  I said to myself, this can't be god.  Then i saw a large black tadpoll shaped thing as it glided through the air away from me.  At the sound of my voice, or my presence, it turned and looked at me w red eyes.  It had large triangular sharp teeth.

Frightened, i mentally pulled away from this thing.  I then remembered that the pentacostals said that god lives in the solar plexis of a born again person.  I set my focus on that area and recommenced chanting god.

Not long after, i percieved a person of golden aura, beaming golden light in all directions.  He looked up at me w a look of love, total acceptance, joy, happiness and a very large smile.  I had seen god, i thought!  How reassuring!  He conveyed all positive feelings.

Over the months, as i dwelt on aspects of what i saw, i realised that the smile and general look of the person was like my younger brother who had died many yrs before.  He had a beaming smile.  He had almost died 3 times before the final incident which did claim his life.  He was a special person in our family.  He enjoyed life, finding fun in so many things.  I soon concluded that it was not, in fact god who responded, but my brother to whom i was closest in my family.

He there, thanks for that, it was a two part story. seems to say that your brother was highly evolved. then I think where Jesus said "I and the Father are one" seems your brother know this, maybe he knew even when he came here, that this was true.
I am not religious, seems I always have to say that. DP is my guide. he reminds me of things like this, "I and the Father are one." they didn't believe him then, and they don't believe it now. love, alysia

Hmm, my brother as god??!  Well, why not.  Considering the way he was amidst our turbulent, yet empty family situation, it doesn't surprise me that he is a higher spirit.  It's funny when christians proclaim to me that jesus was/is god.  I usually agree, and then i tell them that everyone is god.  Too bad they can't accept that.

I've posted a thought in a previous thread the name was "Can we be happy without a family?"
Dispite this is a different thread I think what i wrote there seems to fit here too.

"...Our consciousness is a piece of God’s consciousness we were never a part from God.
The game is to discover God inside us and outside us.
(God can be felt and understood but not saw) ..."

So once we "got the picture" we can be kind of  God's arms helping the others.

Kardec I love the way you put it....

It sounds great and I guess were all kindred spirits, connected in one.....

Gives you a happy buzz just thinking about it..
