Group Activities in Consciousness
Sep 25th, 2005 at 2:07pm

I've noticed some people have posted on partnered explorations.  This usually will have to do with retrievals and afterlife exploration exclusively.

I have been curious, since this board is a community, if anyone would be interested in a similar joint effort to explore consciousness, meet, and/or have a positive influence on our C1 reality.

There are analogies of this in Christian churches with Prayer Groups, however I believe the members of the board could come up with something based not in religion, but in a common intent to spread love and help another.  (Come to think of it, that is the true meaning of christian).  If a member on the board were having a particularly troubling situation, those who wished to could try to help in a joint effort.

Anyway, it could be either a separate topic such as this one, or Bruce/the moderator could give it its own forum if there was interest.

What do you think?

Matthew

Its a great idea to me if you could expand and develop it and maybe Bruce would add a separate thread for you if you ask. I think he's still in Poland?

Not everyone who lurks here considers this forum a community, so I think a thread would help so you could go ahead and develop it, but you would have to be the one to expand it at first, since you thought of it first Grin

I do believe in the principle that a group develops a third entity called "the group." with viable energy input and the same intentions, such as healing, or meeting non/physically and discussing it afterwards.

I am doing the same thing on the PE thread that you are talking about, with an emphasis on developing the imagination method or phasing. I still have a ways to go on that also but would love to have anyone here join us and the conversations going on over there. all the talk is based on Monroe/tmi/Moen's books. or I will try to stay on topic...not easy!  Grin
glad u are here Mathew! love, alysia

Matthew,

Over on Linn's Forum, we have developed
a Healing Circle (not an original concept)
where people post a request, and a willing
group of healers respond. One thing
that I'd like to extend upon is the idea
of combining partnered exploration with
healing. Maybe it would have the same
effect as the healing circle but it would
have the added touch of having healers
meet each other out there to somehow
produce an "extra special blast" of healing
light to the recipient(s).

Thanks Mike,

I plan to join the forum.  To me, it is the natural conclusion that the search for our identity is in essence the search to understand the nature of consciousness.   If consciousness exists apart from the physical plane, and can manipulate reality, then these group efforts are so important for healing and helping each other - as well as exploring.  To concentrate on the afterlife alone makes no sense to me.  If we are multidimensional beings and can focus our consciousness, it is the consciousness itself that should be studied itself, both as a group and independently.

I love that you have a healing group, and your thought about meeting out there both to meet and to have a collective goal or intention echoed my thoughts in writing this thread.

Thanks,

See you there,

Matthew

Mathew said "To concentrate on the afterlife alone makes no sense to me.  If we are multidimensional beings and can focus our consciousness, it is the consciousness itself that should be studied itself, both as a group and independently."    You and me both brother, that is exactly it for me.  The afterlife (or non-physical reality) exists now. The boundries between physical life and non-physical life are really seamless, "all one piece", and it's consciousness itself that is the ground of both...  Yeah Mathew, I'm on board with you on this, something to explore together and indivually, explore the breathtaking possibilities, the different ways of functioning... i'm especially interested in group work...What a great thing, that we can all meet on this forum to exchange views, what a blessing eh? Best to you, Tim
