Why is there a need for two threads about the same exact thing by the same person?
If people were interested they already had a thread  were to post.
If you need some attention and fill up the board with useless threads why don't you go back to that copy and paste Sai Baba's sayings routine of yours?. At least that way we'll get something worth reading.
This board is not about you. There are many members here with interesting things to say, so please give them the space to.

As you noticed, I have been absent of the board for quite a while now and I was hoping somebody would notice that I post less topics.
Nobody here is keeping score, there is no need to. I am not saying post less. I'm saying don't post just anything to keep your name up on the board. Obviously you do crave attention since you were expecting everyone to notice you being away from the board and not posting
Quote:
I apologize to you for my apparently selfish behavior and if I made you feel like I was trying to push anyone under me to get more attention, I am sorry.
I did not require an apology from you but since you offer one let me say it sounds a bit fake to say I apologize to you for my apparently selfish behavior . If you say "apparently selfish behavior" then you don't really think you were selfish so why do you apologize? What are you trying to do here?
Quote:
I think I should ask to the others what they think about my way of posting, and if I notice that more people think like you I will adapt my ways.

Why not make the most of the situation, eh? This can bring you some more attention. Well spotted!
And again you say you will change your ways only if others think like me, so you don't really think you are wrong. All this apologizing is just an act. I wonder what other aspect of your persona is also an act.
Listen White Feather, I didn't tell you to apologize or to adapt yourself to me. All I said is we are all here to learn and share and I look forward to your posts if you have something to say but if you just want to see your name up there please think again and let others learn and share.

Sandra,

While I agree that White Feather's post is a duplicate, and should be put under the partnered exploration Part 1, lets just leave it at that.

Asking if she craves attention, which she may, telling her that she is being manipulative, and may be insincere, while it may be true, is getting into the job of the moderator.  If Bruce is away, I'm sure someone else is in charge of the threads.

Why not simply contact that person or the website?

I don't know what other members feel, but I am equally unhappy hearing one member's ideas about another craving attention, or being insincere as I am about the duplicated topic in the first place.

I do believe in love and light, and part of that belief is a tolerance for this sort of thing, or at least a more discreet way of addressing it.

Peace

Matthew

Dear Matthew,
I totally agree with you. I should have not taken this upon myself but I couldn't help it.
I let myself get carried away by my emotions (probably something to do with my spanish roots:) )
I was already annoyed by the time when she started to ask people to explain multiples Sai Baba's sayings that she would copy and paste and start new threads with, when I saw this duplicate post today I just had to say something.
I believe when you have a problem with someone you have to deal with it so you can move on and hopefully be able to open your heart to them in the future.
My biggest mistake was not to keep this in the private messages as you very rightly pointed out.
Thank you very much for your thought on this, they are very much appreciated.

Just wanted to congratulate both of you for your behavior.

For partnered exploration you might want to try these boards http://forums.astraldynamics.com/

Dear White Feather,

I agree that this topic belongs under the Partnered Exploration Forum, not this one.  People will read all the topics in all forums and choose what they want to read, so don't worry about your posts not getting noticed.  And I agree that there is no need to make a duplicate thread.

You will find when you post, that some people are interested and some are not.  I get disappointed too when I don't see a lot of responses to my own treads, and to see them get pushed down the page is sad.  But I have to assume that no one else is interested and then move on to something else.

I did notice that you were gone for a while because you had been posting like crazy and then completely gone.  So I too wondered if you were at first craving a lot of attention, and then I wondered why you stopped writing altogether.

One reason why we think you were craving attention wasn't a bad thing, it is just the perception you were giving.  Some of your posts have seemed very depressing and it seemed you came here to get attention to help your depression.  That is perfectly understandable.  It happens to all of us.  Take for instance Prill who posted only a couple times and only asked questions about suicide.  Then he was gone and now I wonder if he is still alive!!  See how perceptions get created?

The reason why I thought of you today was because as I was in my bathroom drying my hair this morning, a white feather suddenly came zooming from out of nowhere and fluttered around in my face!   Grin  Then after work I come home to see you have written, so I am glad you are ok.

I hope to see us all get along here, so I hope all is well with this thread.
Thanks, just wanted to add my own 2 cents.

Love,
Vicky
