Spirit Guides?
Sep 20th, 2005 at 8:13pm

Hey All,

I am obviously a newbie here and came across this site.  I have been delving into the "spiritual world" for a year or two now; as in spirit guides, "third eye", meditation realm, including but not limited to angel cards, tarot, insense, etc.  I know that I am intuitive, but tapping into my full capabilities is my uncertainty.

My father passed away 2 years ago, since I dream of him often.  I know in the dreams he is gone and question him on afterlife.  This is pushing my desire to learn more.

I had my cards read approx. one year ago, and she revealed that I will be working with my gift, so to speak.  Since then, I have dove into this.

I have several questions but the question that stands out is does anyone else in here rely on "spirit guides"?  Have you had any experience (positive or negative) with them?  Should this be the way I am going about connecting with the after life or tuning in to my subconscience mind?

A very good friend and I are approx. 700 miles apart and have often chatted about partnered exploration.  We are not sure how to start going about it, other then the fore-mentioned.

I know I am rambling, however; any input is greatly appreciated. Wink

hi, brandx is a cute name. I like that. it's ok to ramble as we do that here. personally, I have guides and if you read Monroe and Moen you will see this does occur perhaps more than we can know to have them without even knowing we do, in the beginning stages of development. I believe asking is necessary, for every level of life, as without asking you do not receive. so you can ask for a guide and in the beginning it simply seems like your own subconscious answering yourself. if u like that you are growing all by yourself with no help u can choose this method; I like asking and getting help myself as it's lovely, it works so well to feel my connections to the universal mind this way. my guides I have met out of body and this can be developed if you wish also. blessings and light, alysia

I've found that I've been receiving guidance througout my life, even though I didn't know about this for most of it.  I don't know where I'd be without it. There is no way that my little ego mind and its limited perspective, could have provided me with the experiences and understandings I've had. I thank my lucky stars, which by the way, is one of the ways I'm communicated to. I see flashing stars, and they flash in deliberate ways.

There are various ways in which guidance can contact you. Dreams are a good place to start, if you haven't already started paying attention to them. They'll tell you so much about yourself and life. They might seem hard to decipher at first. But since they're constructed for and with you,  their messages are certainly comprehensible.
