Awww geez, how tender that story was. If it was me finding that sick mouse I would've been balling my eyes out.

Thanks for the story, now I can remember your technique if I need to.
Last night as I was opening a kitchen cabinet I noticed a funny looking bug on the cabinet door. Not sure what it would be called. It was a tad bit bigger than a mosquito and it had big wings that looked paper thin. The wings were closed together. Kind of large wings for how small the rest of him was. He was only a half an inch long. I like bugs so I wanted to invite him onto the end of my finger. I put my finger right in front of his antennas. (My daughter calls antennas "antler's" hee hee, and I never correct her....hee hee hee). I could tell that I had his attention, and he was kind of checking out my finger for a few seconds. He wasn't scared, didn't try to go the other direction.
You won't believe what he did next.
He walked a tiny ways up past the tip of my finger so that the side of his wings was against my fingertip. Then he slid back and forth!

It appeared that he was scratching his wings with my fingertip. Then he turned around so that the other side of his wings could get scratched too!
My husband and I were cracking up! That sweet little bug had probably been needing that for a long time.
Love,
Vicky
