I think, for one thing, if things were that much simpler it would be taking out the factor of free will--from us in the physical choosing to help out, and also from those who are stuck.  Yes, most people would choose help from whomever, but there is a process that needs to take place when someone needs retrieving, a learning and growth process.  The person who needs retrieving still has something to learn or let go of, and needs to see beyond their fears and beliefs.  I think it still boils down to the fact that non-physical helpers don't just interfere.  They help but we need to seek the help.  And think about how much we can learn from getting to partake in retrievals!

If things were made so easy for us, we would never work harder.

Love,
Vicky

I think Helpers could decrease their vibration in order to become more visible but, as I’ve read, it’s not like taking a cup of water it needs some effort. So logically it’s better to use Physical people once they have a lot do learn with such experiences.

They kind of join two people who need such experience one retrieving and other being retrieved.

I have a similar thought to Kardec. It might not be a good idea for a spirit to lower its vibrational rate too much. That's the sort of thing you do when you enter a body.

Hey

The way i look at it is also physical life habits. We know we can't fly here etc so when we get there we can behave in more of a 'normal' way they retrivee would need to notice as and make contact. As we have the same physical tendercies which even though a soul might have it would of lost as it isn't using them day in day out, so its kinda easier for us to fit into their beliefs and therefore make contact.

wish i could explain better...

I don't know if I have the answer to that, White Feather, but my thought is that humans have had abilities to experience all kinds of "mind travel" since tribal times.

If it is simply an inate ability that we have as a human being then it is a natural thing to use it.  Just a gift for us to discover along the way that helps us connect with our spiritual counterparts in the "astral," not that I really know the meaning of all these terms.

As an aside, I really don't know what cats are doing mentally during the huge amount of time they spend sleeping.  Perhaps there are just an extraordinary amount of things we humans can do when we are freed from other physical duties or desires and this is one of them.
