Hi Prill and welcome!

To answer your question, what happens to a person depends on their own beliefs and/or fears about the afterlife.  A suicide doesn't deserve punishment.  With suicides, I think most times the person must have had mental or emotional problems which prompted the suicide and therefore they are not thinking clearly.  I like to believe that such people will have many helpers available to them when they pass over to help them deal with their state of mind, etc.  Most likely that kind of person will have to spend a lot of healing time in the afterlife dealing with all their problems.

Hi Prill,

A good book to read about those who commit suicide is Gordon Phinn's book "Eternal Life and How To Enjoy It."

Welcome PRILL!   Grin
Vicky, I think that you said that very well! I had quite a session going here awhile back with Freebird over this very same topic.....you have said in a nut shell, what I was trying to say!
I very much believe that we carry our feelings and emotions with us when we go to the afterlife....and if we are entering the afterlife after suicide here, then those feelings will go with us. I don't believe that just because we have gone into the afterlife, that we suddenly are feeling great and free of all our burdens. It's our spirit that goes into the afterlife and at that point, if it is a troubled spirit, then those issues still need to be dealt with.
After all, isn't it true that in the afterlife, we are all still learning and evolving in many ways?

Hi Prill,
I had some hard times and I often dealt with suicide. After I started my own explorations in the afterlife I met with a woman, and she shows me a past life in which I killed myself. The woman who showed me this was my wife in that life. She said she don't wanted to blame me, she don't wanted to make me feel guilty, she just wanted that I saw what I did, I chose dead instead of our love we shared for each other. When I watched me in that life I found immediately after I did suicide that it was wrong and went back nonphysically to my wife. It was too late. But, fortunately, you see I'm here so not forever in hell or something like that. It's all about to learn. I had some other views into past lifes which were, when I got it right, after this suicide life. So, in earth time, I can't be for very long out "there". Hope it was helpful,
spooky

Hey Guys,

I have a great quote from one of the books I’ve read before but am now revisiting with the greater awareness that I’ve gained from this board.  The special thing about this sit, is that I don’t “consciously” select the material the way that I select my books, it arrives willy nelly from all directions and expressions of the various personalities who contribute here.  Anyhow here’s the quote:

“As I have committed suicide, through false pride or in a temper, at least twice, and have deliberately withdrawn from perfectly adequate bodies on three or four other occasions, I know there is no question of being hauled before celestial judges for punishment or condemnation.  But what, at least in my experience, invariably happens is that the part of the personality which tries to escape from a particular problem reproduces a similar situation as soon as possible after it reincarnates.”

Guess who wrote this? Hint, it was published in 1967!

My Love to all you explorers. Jean
