Western World Mass Media and the selling of FEAR for the purpose of manipulation, I love it! Seems some here have really fallin’ for this carp. But then again, I tend to be a real skeptic when it comes to TV, newspapers, and popular books and old dogma. They’re off balance on the side of being human is a negative experience as opposed to it being an exciting Choose Your Own Adventure type of situation. This is a happen’ place to be and even if, at times, we want to take our marbles and go home, or quit the game. Living within the Matrix, to me, means swallowing what has been presented throughout history as the “facts” that it’s a dog eat dog world and we are victims and we will only survive if we are more careful and do the “right thing” whatever that is? You gotta’ admit that it was a great plan to manipulate the masses so that a few can have all the goodies. Brilliant! But meanwhile the world’s a’ changin’ and it’s a good idea to keep up with the times by realizing that there have always been movers and groovers throughout history that have lived outside the Matrix (the box). Many of them are the same individuals that we now worship as gods, gurus, and the “greats in literature, science, philosophy, etc. etc. etc. ad nauseam. IMO it is NO longer appropriate to settle for merely ingesting the greats! It time now for us each to discover for ourselves our truths through our sense of exploration, curiosity, our healthy gut instincts/intuition, and our evolving intelligence. And to do it with a Wing and a Prayer and a just go for it attitude. We have the knowledge; we have the technology, we can read, write, and use the computer to connect with each other in the spirit of love. Now if we only have the courage to pursue it (our truth) and stop whinny and saying what an awful world we have, Woe is Me. There’s a lot of help out there that does not have its own self interest a heart at the expense of yours. As Lucy says to Charley Brown when he came to her psychiatry booth, “You’re here Now, It’s your life, Now Go Out and Live It!!! But wadda’ I know?
Thanks for the soap box-I now pass it on to the doom and gloom mongers

Take heart Nomad, you really do have a lot more power than you realize, but don't be a sucker for the belief that the learning curve is all about suffering-that's an old over used belief.
