Jul 26th, 2005 at 5:38am

for as long as i can remember i've been able to send chills throughout my body, not in that -horror movie- type way, but it feels harmonious, i get the feeling of being -one- with everything....in the back of my mind i've always had this feeling that its more than just shivering, seeing i can do it in the hottest of weather...

can you guys do this?

You are manipulating etheric/bioenergy and sweeping it across your body. As this energetically affects the chakras, associated emotional/psychological energies are also induced.

It is good news for you, that you have in this incarnation, the capacity to do this instrinsically and naturally (ie. without formal training). This is likely due to effort invested in these areas in past lifetimes, as well as a conducive genetic makeup of your present physical body.

You may like to further develop these capacities to work with the etheric/bioenergies by exploring a suitable bioenergy system such as Robert Bruce's New Energy Ways (NEW) :

http://www.astraldynamics.com/tutorials/?BoardID=6

Or if you feel confident that you are already possess sufficient mastery of bioenergies, then begin your practice the Vibrational State technique as conceptualized by the International Academy of Consciousness (IAC).

In summary, you strongly and powerfully sweep bioenergies from the head to the toe, passing through all energy meridians and chakras along the way, and then back up all the way to the top of the head. Repeat this as rapidly as you (actually and properly) can, several sweeps within a second if possible.

Each time you do this successfully, in effect raising the vibrational frequencies of your energy bodies, you may recognize this (successfully installed vibrational state) by the higher frequency associated energies that may manifest at the various emotional, psychological and mental levels, as various positive feelings, such as excitement, euphoria, ehanced psychical sensitivity, intuition and capacity for the expression of love and higher vibrational energies.

You've experienced some of this, as your "feeling of being -one- with everything", which can be further intensified and experienced to an even deeper, more powerful degree, if you will allow yourself to explore these areas, including at the energetic level, a more thorough and complete installation of the Vibrational State, the beginning of which you have enjoyed a glimpse of.

Hi Chris-

You evidently have awakened kundalini energy, no doubt due to effort in a prior lifetime.

A couple of interesting classics on yoga that might interest you are "Hatha Yoga Pradipika" and "Patanjali's Yoga Sutras" (perhaps under a different name, depending on translation). There are lots of descriptive books available, but these are "How To" books, as compared to "Talk About It" books that don't have much utility.

If you have a yoga center that teaches from the Vedas and Upanishads (not the Health Workout kind), or from a Tibetan Mahayana perspective, you can advance all this to the next level. There are a number of other useful organizatiuons and methods as well.

A method that many of my patients enjoy is Surat Shabd Yoga, brought to this continent by Kirpal Singh and some of his companions. This is a Sufi discipline. It leads you to listen to what Omar called, "the tinkling of the camel's bell" by meditation into the heart, a technique also praised by Paramhansa Yogananda. (It's powerful stuff! - Not quite like vase breathing and running prana up the median channel, but similar.)

Enjoy-
dave
