George, Bob on Linn's forum can see people's auras on TV.  But there is no way TV can show anything without showing it on every TV set at the same time, so that everyone sees it. So what he sees could not be in the TV system.

So I have assumed he has some kind of personal connection to the astral that other people do not have.

So in the same way I am guessing that you are making a personal connection to the events happening far away. You could be picking up from someone who is smelling the smoke.
