Hey everyone, I wanted to ask...How common/uncommon is it for people to actually experience the actual sensation of leaving their body when they do retrievals?
The reason why I ask is because for the few I've done, it hasn't been like that at all. The way I've experienced it has been in terms of what Bruce says somewhere on this site about there being millions of radio stations and us having the ability to choose the ones we listen to. This might seem weird, but I've had retrieval-related impressions while doing housework/mundane activities before...doing anything physical where I actually had to think would make it difficult/impossible, but if I'm doing a mindless/rote activity I can be mentally focused on the retrieval based info I'm getting.
The way I've thought of it, from my own observation and what Bruce has said, is being like the fossil record...there are different layers of fossils from different time periods, often arranged spatially from lowest to highest in the ground...so it's completely possible to simply be looking mentally at a different level...and thus not actually go "out" completely in the usual sense I think, while still being able to get information from part of the Afterlife mentally. Thoughts?
