A Brief Experience
Jun 13th, 2005 at 1:42am

Hey everyone

i had another experience saturday night but it was only brief Sad.

anyway i was on a plane and in the cockpit, for some reason R2-D2 was there opening the door to the main compartment for me??? mabey cuz just seen the new star wars film lol? anyway he opened the door and someone else was like here comes ....(someone i dont know) anyway i jump outside onto the grass and see just a big pair of metallic boots walking towards me, that was it! that must have made me think, hang on this isnt right because i became aware and i could feel the grass and was like yes im in! lol. i wanted to make sure it was real so i was like can i turn to the left and i turned and felt the turning motion, and i was like ok and turn back to the right and i turned to the right! unfortunatly for some reason the picture started faded and i was wishing it wasnt! i dunno why it did this, it just kinda faded into blank and i was i think in that 3D black for a few seconds and then i woke up instantly.

if anyone can explain why it faded when i was in i would be very grateful as i would like to make it last longer next time! it may not seem much but it made my day, starting to get there, hopefull i will be able to go OBE when i want and open up to the other side eventually.

thanx for listening

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Hmmmn, frustrating...just when it was getting good....

My own "experiences" are short and I haven't achieved significant dialogue or context so I don't really have any answers for you but maybe someone else here does.

I suspect it's a matter of time and experience, that these perceptions simply overwhelm our emotions or beliefs even when we don't realize it and we shift out of that dimension automatically...

best, blink

Hi Ryan-

When a person "steps back" from an experience to "test it" it causes them to leave the mode of participation as an element of that situation. For example, when you "watch yourself typing on the keyboard" it is one degree removed from actually doing the typing.

It faded because you left the scene to stand outside of it to test it. Since you were no longer in the scene, it was no longer available to you.

As an option you might try, "I am turning to the right," and sense doing it, "I am turning to the left," and sense doing it. "I am here and doing this," whatever it is that you're doing. This keeps you in the mode of actor in the situation. Then the situation defines you, just as it does in everyday experience, and it should continue indefinitely.

there are lots...but my one above is where i woke up in my dream if that makes sense, lucid dreaming. Bit like astral projection or going Out of body. Except i was already in a dream and relised it and suddenly was aware. you can control what you wanna do, where you wanna go etc etc, although just as i controlled to see if it was real i lost it...hmmm

Ryan

(i will have to be corrected if im wrong, im not very experienced in all this)

i know what you mean about that and when you try to control it and realize its a dram you lose it most of the time but that ist going anywhere but in your mind and immagination your not physically nor spiritually(soul) going there.

perfectly rational. Do you get to experience quite often then?

Unfortunatly when i try to OBE (which i have only eever been real close twice i think) i get too excited. I dont have any fear as far as im away but when i feel the vibrations i'm like "yes its happening, right stay calm!" and then waves of excitment come over me and i mentally smile my face off and then lose it, i wish i could keep my cool! lol

Lol well ive had lucid dreams for ever now it seams im new to the astral projecting stuff as you are ive seen a few of your posts. But i think it wont be hard for me because  i have memroires of before when i was born, and i think ive astrally projected alot before i knew what it was even. if that makes sense but i always said heck no i gotta be dreaming then i was like no its so real and id look at clocks and my body and it would be what time it really was but i never knew what was happening untill i started to study it. You see i think i am a suicdee from another life and latley lots of visions have been coming to me i want to see if i can find some answers in the astral . of past lives it exites me alot to man
