Ryan, the very plausible explanation I've met with gives that 'we' don't live on Earth 50+ times (although reincarnation is held to be factual).
The explanation holds that 'we' are simply a Personality of a larger Individual.
A different Personality would manifest each time the Individual deemed it desirable.
A bit like the iceberg, where only a tiny aspect or facet appears visible each time, but the Whole - the Individual - knows and presumably gains and grows from this.
So the many relatives would only know that Personality, which incarnates once.

I think that is a cop out i think all of us have a soul of our own. ANd i think reincarnation is a lie.though i do rember vaugley things before i was born that will happen in this life but no past lives. Btw i am Christian.

TO the left will be the none believers, To the right will be the beleivers.The left will hear depart from me i knew you not. The ones on the right will hear enter in well done though faithful servents.  That is what will happen on the final judgment . I dont get where that fits into reincarnation, Just dosnt make sense .

Shawn, there is absolutely no record of what Jesus said - none!
Not a single word has survived the passage of time, so you can see how the manipulative theologians have had a bonanza in creating their own myths.
They then try to tell us not only 'what Jesus said' but also what Jesus 'meant by what he said' - which, by a strange coincidence, just happens to align perfectly with their own ideas!

God gave you a mind to explore and understand with, how you choose to use it is your own responsibility. I suggest you do not hand over control of it to assorted clergymen to play with.

I offered an explanation in an earlier post about a view of reincarnation. From your responses since, I can see you missed the main point. Would you like to read it again and this time substitute 'Soul' for 'Individuality' and see if this makes a difference to you?
