[quote author=Spitfire I have read monroes, ultimate journey and theres no mention of pets, i have no doubt a cat could have a spirit, but a cat in the physcial having an obe, which a normal human cannot achieve without training, seems impossible.

[/quote]         Hi Spitfire,  Bob Monroe does mention seeing his cats o.b.e; it's in his first or second book. Also, going o.b.e. for humans is something that can happen spontaneously, with no training. It's completely natural and involves more 'remembering' how it's done than 'training' to do it. One doesn't 'train' how to breathe normally. Likewise, o.b.e.s are as natural and normal as breathing. It's just a knack of bringing your attention to something that's usually clothed in forgetfulness.     Best, Tim

I am curious about what leads you to believe that it is impossible, and what beliefs might be conflicted if it turned out to be possible?  Please don't take offense at my questions, none is intended.  These are not questions I'm asking you to answer here on this foruim, rather, questions you might consider pondering.

I heard Monroe talk about his OB cats while he was still physically alive.  He had gone OBE and was suddenly attacked by what he perceived as demons who had jumped on his back and were clawing at him.  His cries frantic for help were answered when a man came down some stairs and removed the demons.

Years later Monroe, again OBE, heard someone yelling frantically for help and he went down some nearby stairs to investigate.  There he saw himself, OBE in that earlier time, with two of the family cats on his back.  He removed the cats and took them back upstairs.

Monroe used this example from his experience to explain something about the nature of our perception of time.

Hi, Lilforestmusic.

It may be not a coincidence that you've been attracted to this board at a time a dear friend of yours may cross the veil.  It could be an invitation, an opportunity to begin your own exploration of the Afterlife, motivated by your desire to keep in touch with your beloved dog.  My heart is with you.

And I agree with you, there is many subjects than can be shared on forums like this one and not really  elsewhere, not yet.  For me, I don't currently have a pet, but I do love the energy of trees.  I walk in the wood, and I feel their presence, their balanced, grounded energy.  I look at them, I touch them, and somewhere deep in me, I feel they know me and I know them.  Older trees, in particular, hold a special energy.  Whenever I feel stressed by the agitated conciousness field of the city, a visit to trees is one of the best way to restore my balance.   I could share with anybody that I connect with trees, and appreciate their friendship, but yes, I would often get laughters, and some would thing I am so weird, or simply nut  Wink

Spitfire, I understand you may be surprise that animals can easily experiment OBEs.   But if you look at it from a different perspective, you may see that it is us, human beings, that has the most problems achieving OBEs.  It's because our mind is very powerful, but not very harmonized with our Soul and with nature.  On the opposite, animals are very well tuned to natural frequencies - remember those animals that went on heights before the tsunami.  Most humans lock them up in a very narrow band of frequencies, and filter out the rest of the multidimensionnal information.  We are addict to C1, the frequency of the waking state/physical world.  Also, we very often get our mind stuck in loops, reprocessing endlessly our own thoughts, in particular fears and worries. If we so choose, reprocessing of joyful thoughts would be far more better for our health  Smiley

I remember, on this board, someone posted about a conversation with another form of life, at focus 34/35. When asked this Being about who was the most evolved being on the planet, was shown a peaceful female gorilla, living a fully multidimensionnal life...hehe  Our creative mind is our greatest gift and at the same time, our greatest handicap when not tuned correctly, scattering energy in many directions with no harmony, or tuning in thoughts of low vibrationnal rate like worries and fears.  Love thoughts are far more better to enhance OBEs and psychic abilities, as mentionned by Justin in a recent post.

Peace and Abundance to everyone

Hey Guys, some good info you've been posting

when i said impossible, i ment that it seemed more as extremely unlikely, Just seems strange a cat can achieve an obe, while most people without training cannot, wizlove makes a good point that a cat/other animals are more @ harmony with nature. Ive seen and read things about dogs/cats mostly who can sence ghosts etc.

ive got another question for some of the more experienced of ye travelers.

while in an obe, do you feel exactly the same as you we be in the physical world?

i meen in dream's, you can always tell your dreaming right? the things you experience are kinda fuzzy when your looking around etc..
it's kinda like looking through a telescope thats got a dull lense. Is it crisp as physical is, with the same detail?

It can be real clear. Sometimes I see very clearly and sometimes I see fuzzily, but the most important thing is using our non-physical sense's to perceive things. I saw crystal clear whenever I did programs at TMI and I feel that's because we were doing 5 or 6 tapes a day and the group energy is so very powerful.  Wink

Peace to you,

Hello all. I am new to this board. I have to say it is nice to see like minded people on here. I guess I could start out with a subject that some have withheld laughter from. It is upsetting to me because..it is painful what I am going through. So here goes...What is your opinion on pets/animals? Do they have a soul? I have a precious dog that has been in my life for 8 years. He is very ill, and this time my gut says he won't make it. He IS my child. I have been crying off and on for a week now. I can't even completely function or concentrate at work..or anywhere. Someone asked me what was wrong and I told them, and I could tell they were trying to hold back laughter or thought that I was overly too sensitive on this matter..it hurts. So I saw this place and thought that maybe someone in here can help shed some light..because I surely need it. He cannot be replaced. He has brought so much joy to my life. When I left him at the vet for a few days, at home I unknowingly would look down at my feet to see that he was not standing there beside me. This is just some of me I am sharing about myself right now..because it consumes me so.  Thanks, L

I lost my 8 yr old Bisquee(french for bisquit) couple of months ago. I often see her in dreams and we have reunions there in a feeling sense. she's doing fine. put me through my paces though the way she just checked out. they do go on, just as long as we need them to be around, they are attached as by an emotional ambilical cord in the ethers.. nothing ever dies.. i did get another dog, not the same dog, but just as interesting, just as lovable. she even eats cat turds like i used to scold Bisquee for doing! theres so many animals out there need your love, please let one have your love. you help the animal kingdom this way. and just before u go to sleep at night ask to be able to find your pet over there in pet heaven, it usually works! I used to think of all the funny moments that bisquee gave me and take all that joy and wrap it up and send it to her so she knows she did a good job here for her master. it helps them. love, alysia

Thank you all for your kind words. He seemed to be doing better the last couple of days on the stronger antibiotics. Today, he went right back to the way he was. They think it might be meningitis. If so, we have to make a trip for a spinal tap. Sorry for the late reply.  Bless you all, L

most times I am seeing fuzzy and hearing fuzzy, catching only certain words to bring back to memory. but this is interesting your query. the guides have been working with me to focus my "lens." when I lost my dog I naturally went in search of her in dreams and got several. but the most interesting one was where as I looked down at her little body, i said I want to see her soul please. suddenly my focus lens zoomed in right to her brown eyes. she said to me, you know I am one with you, don't you? that was amazing. knowing she and I are one caused me to back off on searching for her out there to see how she was doing. I knew that if I was doing well emotionally, she would do well also. hard to explain.
