To make contact with the other side why must we be in a dream state?

Where did you get that idea?  We can connect from the normal waking state or from an altered state as with hemi-sync or in the dream state.  Bruce's workshops teach how to 'connect' with the afterlife and do retrievals from the normal waking state.  Have you read this entire website yet?  There's much valuable information on how to connect.  Wink  Some of us do connect in our dream/sleeping state and remember and others have to access that memory.  Cheesy

Mr_Shawn,

During sleep is a convenient time for the deceased to contact us since our awareness isn't crowded with physical world stuff.  And so the most common form of real contact is during dreams.

But, with just a little understanding about how to do it, it's easy to do sitting in a chair, wide awake in a hotel meeting room.  That's often the setting for my workshops.

I`m bumping this topic from page "92"..lol.. Wink

My question is - during daytime hours our enviroment seems to be busier in frequency around us, right? Would that be the cause of not "easily" being able to OBE during the day without an enorm amount of practice? Masters can do this at any given time from what I understand.

Hugs,
Nanner

Hello Mr Shawn,

Nice to read your first thread.

Well as Bruce stated it is not neccessary to be asleep to connect. The sleep state is, however, easier, but considerably more vague.

Blessings
