Title: Rob Calkins passed away
Post by Vicky on Jan 23rd, 2012 at 7:47pm
Some of you who've been here for several years may remember Rob.  I just wanted to let you know in case you haven't heard, that Rob passed away Monday January 16 from adverse reactions to one of his chemo meds.  He'd been battling pelvic cancer for about a year.  There's a service tomorrow, and I know most of you aren't here in Denver, but I just thought it was important you all knew so you can be thinking of him and sending your love and thoughts and good memories of Rob.  He was such a sweet man and will be dearly missed by so many.

Love,
Vicky

Thank you as well Vicky for bringing this to our attention.  I can't say that i remember Rob that well, but i do think i do sort of remember him.

I wish i could see a couple of his posts to help refresh my memory, but in any case i hope Rob is really happy right now and that his loved ones are doing well as can be also.

p.s., i bet Rob and Romain are going to have a grand party at some point.

Hi Justin,

Thanks for your reply.  I was curious and scrolled back to page 104 on the Afterlife Knowledge Forum and found this one started by Rob about the workshop Bruce did here in 2007 when he still lived in Colorado.  Long time ago!

Vicky and Ginny,

Thanks for posting about the passing of Rob Calkins and Romaine respectively.  As posters come and go, I find myself wondering how they are doing.  I have lived in many different places and made friends with whom I have lost touch.  I really want to know which of them his left this earthly existence.  So thanks for the notifications.

Don

You're welcome Don.  It's been nearly a year now since Rob died and I've been thinking of him a lot lately, more than usual.  I still miss him so very much.  He lived not too far from me and we often met up for breakfast or lunch or to visit with friends.  If it weren't for Bruce's board here, I would not have known him.

:)
