Hello Bruce and Board,( Bruce I do see you fully recovered in near future and welcome home friend) This is a follow up story from last August 19th to be exact which I posted on here called Sleeping soldier. No matter how often these confirmations happen I continue to feel amazed by them , please read the entire posting for this has me totally floored, its long but worth the entire read. Let me start by recounting what happened yesterday, then from last august.
Yesterday ( Jan 17 2004) was another Sunshine Health Food Store day, every so often I am asked to do spirit connections there which I happily oblige. Its bad weather here in ohio, but was told a woman from out of state was braving the icy roads and had to see me. This woman's name I am to see is Allison . This reading is tied in with her friend Kathy's reading from last Aug. Kathy saw me for a reading at the store last august, wanting to connect with her grandfather in spirit but also asked me to see if I could tune into her friend Allison's son who recently died. I tuned in and saw a young man lying in a casket wearing a military suit. He was sleeping but then I saw a little boy running around the casket making a lot of noise, he appeared to be trying to wake this man up. This little boy was small around three years old. Kathy at that time exclaimed that the little boy sounded like he was this military man 's brother who died at the age of three. Kathy left that day wanting to tell Allison what I saw in the reading but felt it was just too soon, this young military male ( Justin) had only passed 6 days earlier and Kathy was also a little fearful of how Allison would react to how she got the information from me . A few weeks ago Kathy died suddenly but she had emailed the details of the reading to Allison just two days before her sudden death, Allison emailed her back saying she wanted to get together in person with kathy to discuss the details but Kathys death kept that from happening. Ok below is what I posted to Bruce last August
After the reading with Kathy ( last august) I went home, disturbed at seeing this young male still sleeping so posted a question to Bruce. August 19, 2003 here is what I posted to board Hello, last evening I was doing some spirit connecting for small group, one of the group asked me to ck on her friends son, this son died in Iraq about 6 days ago at the age of 21. I tuned in and saw him decked out in formal military dress, totally asleep laying in a coffin or bed, the bed had silk looking cover over him. I found out that he had passed over from swelling of the brain, sort of encephalitis like condition, he died never regaining consciousness. There was a small little blonde haired boy running around the room where he lay, he lost his little brother many years ago at age three. ( This boy would now be 12). I picked up telepathic wise that this little boy was trying to awake his brother , not with success so far. I will continue to check on this 21 year old male, being only 6 days since he has passed over. But my question to you Bruce as I cannot seem to locate the particular book of yours ( I have all of them) where you go into detail about passing over in a unconscious state( note to all wanting to learn , please purchase Bruce's books if you want to learn and understand the after life as they are a valuable and please do not misplace them as I have done at this moment to refer back on) I am not sure if this male is needing time to heal or if I should intervene. Would you please explain dying while in a unconscious state. Thank you ..linn Bruce's reply august 19
From your description it may be that this young man hasn't regained consciousnes since his death. I dont meant to imply that this is generally the rule for those who die in this way, its just that his younger brother being there, apparently trying to wake him up, kind of gives me that indication. Sometimes a person who is unconscious at death could be thought of as someone who was asleep and dreaming, and dies during the dream. The dream may continue and without the physical body's needs to awaken the person they may remain in the dream. That's one of the ways people can get stuck after death. As to intervening I 've done it a number of times when it was , later, obviously inappropriate , and no harm was done. When you encounter the young man again you might consider having a little conversation with his younger brother, explaining that you'd like to wake the young man up. You might treat the younger brother as a helper you've come to assist. Then do, whatever seems appropriate as a way to wake him up. And "appropriate" has lots of leeway. blowing a bugle, or shouting orders like a superior officer wouldn't be out of line, if a softer approach gets no where.Once he wakes up birng this attention to his brother. If the young man is actually in a healing process that you're disturbing, in my view its no worse thatn waking up someone up physicaly who needs more sleep. The best part is , the experience sounds like an opportunity to learn more about the very thing you've asking about. love Bruce Here is a follow up posted August 21 from me Post note cont. Sleeping Soldier ( aug 21) In an earlier posting I had asked Bruce if I should intervene on this 21 yr old soldier who passed on while remaining unconscious. He suggested that I blow a bugle near his ear, I did do this several times, shortly after I focused blowing the bugle, my dog here started to bark loudly at something , it took away my concentration for a moment, I re-tuned in, but the strangest thing happened, a dog there appeared near this male and his brother and stared barking loudly. I did not create this, or if I did I was not doing it consciously, however after the dog ther started to bark theyoung soldier sat up , now it could have been the bugle or the combination of both, but he sat up. Dazed but sitting up, I left him with his little brother tugging at his hand to get up, Any opinions about the dog? love linn Bruce's reply August 22 below Fascinating. Sometimes helpers aren't human beings, sometimes they're dogs. sounds to me like the bugle worked to get the young man's attention. It would'nt suprise me to find out the younger brother brought the dog along knowing you'd might try the bugle idea. The dog is probably a pet of the young man 's and once the the bugle got his attention the barking of this nonphysical dog could be just the thing that would help transfer attention to the helpers. I wonder if your dogs's barking was in response to something the helper dog did to make his prescence known. Fascinating. Great work linn, sounds to me like you've retreived this sleeping soldier. Love Bruce I want to add that I did not relay my concern to Kathy at the time, nor did I speak to or have any contact with Kathy after her read with me, she did not tell me about a dog, nor did I tell her that I ever saw a dog nor that Justin woke up etc. Present day < Jan 17, 2004 Now today I met with Allison, mother of Justin and friend of Kathy, she wanted to go over the information she had read about in Kathy's email to her and she also wanted to know if I could tune into Kathy to see if she had crossed easily to the other side. I first relayed what I had seen back in August, and also included the little white dog story,, as I did this her eyes started to pop wide open and her mouth opened widely, she started to gasp,, Justin's dog she screamed, that is Justin's dog,, let me tell you about his dog she said,, this little dog died the day after Justin died ( which shocked the whole family ), justin and his dog were best friends and this dog grew up with Justin he loved this dog with all his heart, she said she had the dog cremated and put the dogs ashes into justin's military coat pocket that he was buried in so that they could be buried together. Allison was happy to learn that both her sons and the little dog are together , this did her heart much good, and we both were in tears after she told me that. So bruce you were indeed correct that this dog was a pet of the soldier. To me this last bit of confirmation makes retreivals so important and it also makes for me that it is not our imagination in what we see, no indeed its true all true. Thank you Bruce for all your work and all your books, you have educated me so much you do not know. PS Kathy did make it across and came through for her friend, in more ways than one,,,,,love linn
