Have not done a retrieval in a long time. Bit of difficulty getting started, stay in the dark for a while. Things come up but I let them go to see if they will come back. I guess I'm just getting a feel for my perception. A boy keeps coming up but I let go. Finally, I see a boy about ten or eleven sitting on the front entrance to a house in the city. The kind of house you see in alot cities with three or four concrete steps up to the door and row after row of the same kind of townhouse block after block. It is an older section of town. He is crying. I come up to him and ask him what is wrong. He says everyone is gone and he can't find anyone. I get the feeling there was a fire. I tell him there is a picnic in the park up the road and that's where everyone is. He is relieved by this and we go up the street to the "picnic." There He is met by many people. I go back to the darkness for another retrieval - that one was fairly easy. After a while I find I am in an Afghan village. I get two perspectives one is a village reduced to rubble and then the village is whole again. I know I am in Afghanistan because I am wearing one of those traditional blue Afghan burkas. My son Kevin always comes with me with me on these adventures. I look over at him walking up the street with me. I say "I suppose you are my male escort." He laughs at me and says "Yes you must be escorted by a male relative." "Hum" He is enjoying this. We walk up the street and look around. I try to change my appearance with a dark scarf over my hair so my face can show. Kevin says "That's not going to work! In fact they probably won't listen to you even in that burka." My appearance changes to a Muslim male. I see a group of men standing around a table up ahead. I approach them and they ask who I am. I give them a name that went with the area and told them I was from a neighboring village. They accepted this and went on with their work. They were looking that a map on the table and discussing strategies for an attack on their enemies. I watched them for a while smiling very peacefully that them. My focus seemed to be the one in charge, he was wearing an old green military cap and detailing out the attack. He points to an area on the map when the attack will begin. I tell them "They [the enemy] what moved." The commander looks up at me this is information that could be useful. I say "Yes, they have moved, actually it is you who what moved. You have died and have moved to the afterlife." He did not say anything just gave me a look that I was ridiculous and angry that I was interfering with this important strategic meeting. I stood there smiling at them and they did their best to ignore me. I said "I thought you might want to enjoy the afterlife. Isn't this what you what been waiting for all of your life to be in heaven! Don't you want to enjoy heaven, there is so much more to do here." The commander completely ignores me as he continues discussing the plans. I know I am really bothering him and a little is sinking in. I continue smiling patiently at them. I look directly at the commander say "Aren't you tired of this? You are just playing a game. This is so much more to do here. You are just playing a child's game." This hit a nerve! He shot me a look of pure disgust. Then, he went back to the map and the plans. At least I know he is listening. I continue to smiling serenely at them for a while. Finally, I say to the commander "I thought you would want to see your farther and your mother and your brother too. Oh yes, you have a sister also." He looked up at me this time with amazement and longing. This was something he desperately wants. Once this change happened, there was movement. I got a brief glimpse of his reunion with his family. In closing, I want to wish Bruce-Pure Unconditional Love and a speedy recovery. Bruce you have changed my life so much without your help, I still might be on the floor with grief. Now whenever, I am down I can just walk on to the other side and visit! Thank you so much! Love Krisa
