Salutations!

Last night, I looked in on Bruce Moen's website to see if he has any updates on The Event.
I barely know his work.
I've only ever read the 3 pages of The Gathering.
That's when I found he has moved on and clicking the link led me to this forum.
And I found this post on 'Over The Rainbow'
It's actually a significant song for me for I first heard Israel's version in 2010, shortly after I was called to service.
And strangely enough, I heard that song 2 nights ago in one of my dreams.
Here's the relevant part of my notes:
I hear 'Over the Rainbow'
Someone is talking about leprechauns
I shall find the pot of gold

I wonder if I am meant to find this place.......

Hi and welcome!   Smiley

What is The Event?

And we do have a Dream Forum here so please share your dreams if you feel like it.

Synchronicities are so interesting how they work their way into our lives aren't they?  It's always good to be reminded to look for them and make the connections!  I believe that's how we have and notice more of them and how they become even more intriguing and complex.

I've listened to this version of this song for years.  It's on my favorites list.  This man's version and voice is so relaxing.

When I replied here yesterday I hadn't even had clicked the link above so I know the song wasn't in my head yesterday.  But this morning I found myself singing this song (with the guy's voice in my head) just absentmindedly, and then I suddenly remembered this thread.

Some synchronicity going on?  I don't know.  But now this song is in my head, which is great.  It puts me in a good mood!

I am glad the song was well received. Although there are others I briefly posted here on this thread and then removed, I continue to hear this one in my mind so I wanted to leave it here without any distraction.

I find the song and video inspiring.

This week I was reading a recommended book written by a medium which singled out the song as helpful. Good vibrations to all.

On another note, today I had a fun thing happen. I have been very busy with unexpected family matters but I took some time to do some excellent youtube meditations to give me the balance I needed to accomplish my tasks, which are continuing.

Then, today I took some time, only a few moments, really, to do some chanting of my mantra while resting. I sent my positive wishes toward all my family and friends, and toward the entire planet, and toward all of physical existence, past and future, from the smallest to the largest and back. I believe I did include the afterlife territories as well. I do not know the depth and shape of all that exists, so it is impossible to define exactly where a prayer goes.

A visual image formed in my mind while chanting: an hourglass shape, like one of those little bottles with sand running through it to count time. The thin part of the hourglass widened into infinity as I chanted. All of this took only about a minute or so. As the hourglass widened I felt a chill begin to move over my entire body, a definite sensation which I knew meant something. I just did not know what.

My chant was not loud. It was only a whisper. I was lying down. It is unimportant how loud a person chants.

So, I went on with my day. Later, I was grocery shopping. Just as the older gentleman left the cash register, he turned as I moved to take his place. He looked at me with a big smile and said something to the effect of, here's a present for you -- and handed me a gift card to the grocery store to use. He swiftly walked away. It was a random act of kindness. I appreciated that $15.

Was that a coincidence? I doubt it. The other day I was looking at Bruce Moen's picture on the website. It seemed to come alive while I looked at it, as if he was looking right out of the picture at me.

Now, these may seem to be fanciful thoughts to some people. But life is hard sometimes. It is moments like these that cause me to wonder. Wonder what, you might ask?

It causes me to be curious. Curiosity is a good thing, and it is fun to pay attention to these kinds of things as we go along in life. Love to all.

SGR ...

I enjoy hearing these kinds of "this happened during my day" stories or experiences. And, a good period of meditation (15 minutes or more) can reduce our resistance to the non-physical flows in and about us. Really good.
