Were these dreams communications?
Oct 13th, 2012 at 12:53pm

Just found this forum - I have two dreams I'd really like some feedback on.  Both felt very real.

Some background - I had my beloved ten year old dog put to sleep because had arthritis and hip dysplasia and one morning she fell and couldn't get up - I feel it was too soon (contacted two different animal communicators, one said it was time, the other said she wanted to stay longer, both said she loves me).  I am consumed with guilt.

Dream #1 (last week)
I was taking my dog to the vet but it was a different vet and I was in a different car. The vet was putting her to sleep. Then the scene shifted and I was with her in a huge house with some people and a Great Dane and a cat, and my dog was with them. In the dream I thought "she's still alive" and asked the girl there if I could take her back, and the girl said "no, she's come to stay with us for a while." But it was a beautiful place, lots of space, and Kena was happy. It was one of those dreams that feel more real than waking life.  (My aunt, who died several years ago, once had a Great Dane, and I had a cat who I had put to sleep at the age of 16 last summer - she had cancer so don't feel guilty about that, unlike with my dog).

Dream #2 (last night)
I was with a neighbor who died of cancer in August.  We were walking and he had his arm around me.  We were in a beautiful house full of light, and he, his son, and I were eating a meal.  There were many scenes I don't remember, but it felt that we spent years together.

One scene was we were driving and went to a circular building - the first door was old and rusty and we couldn't get in, so we walked around. A tree root moved to make a step for us. The next door had something like a church bell on it.  There were people there.  One asked someone there how many more incarnations and the answer was four.  I asked and was told I couldn't be given an answer while I had a body.  I wanted to stay there, but a man told me if I did, then I would be found dead, and my daughter needed me, but I could visit.  My neighbor doesn't have to come back (what I would expect because he was such a good man) but he was staying there to help his son and three daughters.

There was a large mirror, and in the mirror I saw my dog (she looked a little different but I knew it was her).  I called her, and she came from around the mirror (looking like she did in life), greeted me, and got up on the couch.

There was more but those were the most vivid parts.
Would really appreciate any insights on either or both of these dreams!

Looks like your dog is happy in the afterlife.
The mirror does it all. You were looking at yourself as you are now and your dog came to you to comfort you.

I understand you miss your dog, but she catches your thoughts on the other side of life.
Don't be sad about her. She is all right.

Thanks so much for replying, Mogenblue.  I loved that dog very much and always will.  Used to ask her if she wanted to be human next time, or if she wanted to be my dog again (she was almost human to me).  I've had other dogs, but she was very special.

Hello, nanda.

Thank you for sharing these touching experiences.

I hope the visit from your beloved dog helped you let go of your guilt. Sometimes letting go is very hard when someone is so special to us. Especially when we have to make that decision for them.

Take care
