Cat bit me
Sep 11th, 2012 at 1:50pm

My dead cat, (whom I was very close to and have had many, many dreams of.) was in a dream recently doing the typical cat kneading and biting reminiscent to when they were nursing from they're mother.

It was interesting because he was kneading my arm and biting down on it very hard, and when he pulled away I had some fairly severe skin tearing although no blood.

My personal take on this dream is that it's not spiritual at all, I think it was my own concoction, perhaps a weird fantasy involving a zombie version of my cat. (My first thoughts in the dream went right to, oh no, he bit me I will become a zombie!)

LOL.

Any thoughts?

I'm glad we have a space on the internet to talk about your dead cat, Focus27.
Animals are our brothers and sisters and they have there own character too.

If it were my dream, I'd say that the symbolism was beyond me.

Every once in a while when I'm between sleep and awake, my (deceased) cat (soul mate, for sure) licks my chin and wakes me up, just like she used to. 100% real feeling. I miss my cat more than any person I've ever lost; our connection to pets is so incredibly free of complications that loss of them is worse than the loss of most people, for me anyway.
