Tired salesman in dark suit

Part 1, initiation

This retrieval was done 2012-08-08.

I don't know what to call this part, but it appears as some kind of strange
"preparation". I start at "my place" in the astral. Session has just begun
and I only intend to explore and improve "my place".

Some part somewhere becomes a sort of high pole used for a kind of party.
The pole raises up of the ground. I move up to the top of this pole, and
it continues to grow upwards. Up, up in the sky and beyond. Eventually
I'm in space. I can see stars and darkness.

Hmm?

There is some kind of familiar feeling. Can this be Focus 17 again? In such a
case, am I into a new Locale III visit? I'm not too keen on doing that job
as I feel obligated to write every detail of it down afterwards, in a format
readable to others, and that means even more job for me.

Now the pole is gone, my surroundings become blurred. I see a kind of haze or
fog in front of me. There is no deep space anymore.

I get the impression of the wall of a house in front of me. I get extremely
few impressions of shapes, but I think I'm in a town, a town setting somehow.
Big house in front of me, probably several stories high. Perhaps windows
somewhere? Is there a stair to my left? No? This wall only then?

Part 2, retrieval

I get the impression that someone is sitting against the house's wall. It's
someone who gives me the feeling of being a beggar, perhaps sitting in a lotus
position. Is this beggar a person from India?

I sense two persons in business suits move by, almost like they are mirror
images of each others. They come almost simultaneously from my left and right
sides, walking on the pavement. The two persons in suits just walks past me,
very quickly, on the pavement where the beggar is sitting. They just ignores
the beggar and probably doesn't see me. The walking suit persons' movements are
rather quick, I just get a short glimps of them. I think the persons in suits
are men and they have a sort of transparent feeling to them, like their bodies
and clothes are semi-transparent, sort of ghostlike.

Suddenly things change. The beggar is gone. I try to search for this beggar
and try to improve my impression of the house's wall, but to no avail.

Blur, blurry blur, things just look blurred.

But I guess that I'm in a town. And perhaps my task is to look for the persons
in suits?

I target in on whomever I feel is wearing a suit.

Some distance from me a man in a regular suit of the kind that was common in
the 1950ies appears. His suit is not that much different from simple suits
you may find in shops today. The man is also wearing a simple hat in the same
1950ies style. I think this Hat-Man has dark hair and is around 40 years. He
appears to be bored and he has a body shape slightly heavier than average, but
without being over-weight. Maybe he is 175 cm tall. I get some kind of tired
feeling from him, perhaps like he is partly sleeping, at least his primary
attention to his surrounding doesn't seem to contain too much positive
emotions.

The Hat-Man seems semi-transparent to me, like he has been fading away for some
time. His back is slightly bent at the upper part near the back of his neck, as
if he feels depressed, or like someone has emotionally pushed him down. Still
he seems physically strong for not being the typical worker type.

I don't know what he works with, but some part of me just assumes that he could
be working with something related to sales or some kind of paper/office work.

[--- Comment outside of the retrieval ---]
I've had several retrievals with poor impressions, blurred or where I have
difficulties to see things clearly. This Hat-Man is yet another such blurred
or poor vision retrieval. At other times I've got very clear views of people,
but those visions have not been of the retrieval type and also fairly short.

I wonder to myself if these poor, blurred impressions are some kind of training to stretch
my abilites to the limit while still doing something useful?
[--- End of Comment ---]
---

The Hat-Man is walking ahead of me, I follow him. We pass by a black cast iron
fence. I think to myself that the fence resembles a different iron fence I've
saw outside a park, when I retrieved a French woman.

I don't know what to do, but often my job is just to get the retrieval person's
attention, so some "energy" is transferred. I speak to the Hat-Man and say:

"How do I get to Telmar Street?"

I have no idea what kind of street that is, but the Hat-Man almost immediately
begins to talk to me and points in the opposite direction of which he is heading.
I don't hear a word of what he says, but get the impression that whatever
street I was looking for, it's not far away, but in the opposite direction.
I thank him for his directions and then do nothing.

The Hat-Man walks away and leaves me. This seems incomplete. I still don't know
what to do, but before he gets too far away I begin to follow him at a distance.

I wonder if I can approach the Hat-Man again, and if I am able to appear as a
different person. I have do do something, but need to find a new angle to
reach him.

The Hat-Man and I move past yet another iron fence. I continue to follow him
and watch his back for some moments. We pass another iron cast fence. That
fence is standing on a low stone wall. Perhaps there is some kind of garden
behind the fence. The cast iron bars are square and slim, the upper ends
look like pointy arrow heads.

Hmm... The fence...

I walk up side-by-side to the Hat-Man as we walk alongside the iron fence, and I say:

"Strange looking fence, isn't it. Those cast iron shapes are really odd."

The Hat-Man stops and looks at me. He seems to wonder why I talk to him. I continue:

"I manufacture and sell fences, have a huge plant outside town. There is a big
demand for good quality fencing all around. So there is a need me to get some
more personal. In fact you look like someone I would like to hire, if you
would like to work with selling and handling fences?"

Now something happens which has happened to me on several retrievals. I see
myself in third person as I talk to the Hat-Man. I notice that I'm older,
perhaps in my 60ies and I have a big grey moustache. I also look a little
more fancy dressed than the Hat-Man.

The Hat-Man looks at me for only a moment and then says yes, he would like to
work with fences.

I tell him that my office is across the street and asks him if we could go
there and sign the employment papers? I get a house into my view with stairs
to a door entrance. The house is alongside other houses at this town street.
I guess that all the houses at the street are 3-4 stories high.

I remember from my previous retrievals that I have made people move to new
housings. I probably should do something to make him move too. I tell him
that some of my employees live at the fence site, outside of the town,
I keep good quality living quarters for the staff.

Click!

This was an odd click, but suddenly we are inside the town house, in an office
room. I don't think I "clicked out". Instead this "click" was more a kind of
transfer, we just moved. Perhaps there was a very short grey moment in my
minds eye, but I never fell asleep. I realize that we are still inside the
town.

The office in the house looks just a little to fancy for someone running a
fence manufacturing plant. My office desk has some golden parts, with very
elaborate cut expensive woods. This must be the work of the helpers. But
aren't they exaggerating this a little, a golden office desk?

I see myself in third person, sitting behind the office desk. I hand over a
paper to the Hat-Man, who signs his name on the employment paper. I can feel
that he is now committed to his new work.

The office room is quite big, windows are behind "me", but my view point
is from the other side, so I view "myself" from the face front in third
person and the Hat-Man has his back to my view point.

The Hat-Man sits a little to the right of my view point and the "me" is a
little to the left of my view point, behind the office desk.

I feel very puzzled what to do next. How will I get him to the plant? I probably
has to arrange with some kind of transportation. Bus? Hm, no, probably not.
Taxi? Not that either.

I lift the phone at the office table and make a call. I tell someone that we
have a new employee for the fence plant site. A car will arrive in a moment.

Click!

Again there is a click where I am sure I haven't clicked out. But suddenly
I and the Hat-Man is standing at the street outside the office building.

A car arrives. The car looks just a little too fancy, as it has three
rows of seats, like a slightly bigger cab. The driver in the car is one
of my employees, he is a slightly over-weight guy in a driver uniform
typical of a wealthy company of the 1950ies. The driver doesn't say
much except for formal greetings.

At the rear end of the car, at the passengers' seat, a more slim buildt man
opens the car door. The Slim-Man wears a caps typical of the time and rather
simple clothes. I get the impression that the Slim-Man is one of my employees
too. The Slim-Man greats the Hat-Man.

I get the impression that both the driver and the Slim-Man are around 40 years,
so they form a union in age with the Hat-Man. The Slim-Man is more talkative
and after having greeted me, the Slim-Man starts a conversation with the Hat-Man.

I get the impression that the Slim-Man is a kind of Jack of all Trades and will
help the Hat-Man to the fence manufacturing plant.

Before they leave, I by some reason say to the Hat-Man:

"I have a second fence plant further north. It's very new and not fully
operative yet, but if you later on want to move upstate, that's a great
place to settle at."

I tell the Hat-Man that I have to stay in town and the Slim-Man will eventually
show him the fence plant. I shake hands with the Hat-Man and tell him I wish
him luck.

I see the car leave and get some goose bumps in the physical.

I some moments later went back to the starting point where I first sensed the
beggar from India, as I was wondering if there was a need for a second retrieval.
But I couldn't find the beggar, even if I sensed his "Indian" presence for a
short moment.

Not being able to perform anything more, I called it a day.
---

Part 3, after-thoughts

This retrieval was kind of "regular".

But it had me wonder why I sometimes watch myself or the role I'm acting,
in third person. Am I doing some kind of bi-location or is a helper
stepping in and acting in my place when I'm "outside", watching
whomever I think I am during the retrieval?

It disturbs me that I can't "hear" what people say. But apparently the
Hat-Man was able to hear me. If I am supposed to get better at hearing
my retrieval person's talk, what should I do? I'm satisfied with hearing
with my mind's ear, as it was now, I didn't get much understanding.

I also wonder about the Indian beggar, was he a guide who just had to be
there to prime-the-pump and get me going?

I also have had some of these "town" retrievals and at other occasions I've
thought some of these towns to be F 23 constructions of the retrieval person's
mind. But this time I actually wondered if I was in some kind of BST town.
I didn't see too many other people, but the feeling was that of a more
complex "region", but without a religious belief system attached to it.

I also wonder if my participation was important at all after having placed
my question how to get to Telmar Street. After all, a helper could have
done the remaining work. Maybe it was important for me to follow through
with the retrieval by other reasons?

Why are so many of my retrievals blurry?

This got lengthy.

I always end up with a ton of text because of my intention to capture as
many details as possible...

PauliEffect,

I love the detail you describe and the confidence you have in allowing scenes to unfold with doubt coming in ruining the experience.

It gives me hope to start doing retrievals again. This is not an exact science and we have to learn a new language, a new set of skills and a new way of seeing things.

thank you

Thank you. I remember one TMI Explorer tape, where an entity said the most
important thing was to do a session of some sort every day, which I've
tried to do. I've skipped some days, but most days I do something,
like meditation or just asking questions.

And something has happened, but I'm not sure exactly what, as I get
brief clear visions more often, but not from retrievals.
