I haven't done a lot of retrievals even though I took Lifelines.
Before Lifelines, I did a very simple retrieval of a friend who died of prostate cancer. He was heavily drugged when he passed and all I needed to do was get his attention, which I did by sending PUL to him, and then a white light appeared and he disappeared into it. I told my partner that I thought this man had passed, because of the retrieval experience, and it turned out that he had indeed passed that evening.
Much more recently, just a few weeks ago, someone I was very close to passed after a bout with meningitis; I had talked to her on the phone only days before, and when I found out she was in a coma I decided to check in on her as best I could. I don't seem to be able to access the Afterlife unless I'm under quite a bit of duress.
So....I found her sitting in what felt like F22 or F23, which made sense given she was in a coma. She was surprised and happy to see me, and we decided to take a walk. Since I only get impressions of things, all I can say is that we ended up in a park-like setting, with green grass and a path. Sure sounds like the Park in 27, but that would surprise me a little since she was quite Catholic. Maybe she didn't know she was dead yet?
She was still hooked up to life support at this time but I believe "she" had already left and her body was just being maintained by machines. I'll be curious to check in on her again some time and see if she ended up in a BST or not.
