Gray figure asking my birthdate and laid hands on
Jul 12th, 2012 at 9:55pm

Hi,
I often dream about school and schoolfriends, but this was special:

I was at my school. I went inside a classroom, where I knew my old class would be; I had to repeat a year due to my bad grades, so my, at that point, regular class would have been my new, but now I visited my old class; I saw some of my old friends, but as well I saw many I didn't recognize. I took a seat at a desk in the back of the room, in a great distance to the teacher's desk. I did not recognize the pupils at the desk besides me, they were not my old friends, they seemed to be younger. I think the teacher did arrive, but I'm not sure. I, and as it seemed, the others as well, didn't pay much attention to the teacher. I then became somehow uncomfortable and moved from the desk I seated at to a desk behind it, where I sat alone.
Then a figure entered the scene near me: A very old woman, wrinkled face, wearing a dark-grey coat with many holes in it, holes which looked liked burnt-out; her outer appearance was like that of a many years homeless drunkard, or a witch of old illustrations, but I, nevertheless, felt, she was an important person. She asked me about my date of birth. I worried "Why give a stranger my personal data?!" and answered her, giving her a wrong date; at the same time, I knew she would give me a negative respond, and, independently from that, I corrected my answer and gave her my real birth date. She said: "Terrible". Then she laid both of her hands on my head from behind, and the classroom scene vanished, and faded into a blurry gray, and I had the feeling of falling. This feeling of falling wasn't uncomfortable at all, but most relieving. I realized I could let go all of my worries, and I did, feeling more and more relieved from all pressures, until I very softly, gradually, awoke to physical consciousness in my bed.

Hi Spooky,

Maybe the old woman needs defending  Smiley  so we don’t see her as some old drunkard: In order for her to develop her spiritual powers she has had to give up the ways of the material world. She doesn’t care about fashion because she’s busy tuning in to non-physical realms.

She must be effective because she was able to make immediate changes for you. She was quickly able to asses your situation and so determine that you didn’t need to stay where you were.

Could you put yourself back in a dreaming/ meditative frame of mind and ask her where she has moved you to? She must have had something else in mind for you for her to act so directly.

Hi Bets,
it was a strange figure, this old woman, but I sensed she knew what she was doing. She wasn't a drunkard, indeed, she just looked like, outwardly. And her clothing, and her overall appearance, I think, was not just from neglect, but was showing something from herself or her task (or from my unconscious to my consciousness).

Ah yes, I haven't tried the "go-back-there" method yet. With dreams it is more difficult than with mind-journeys I've found.
