Backing out of sites

This is really off topic.

I use google. At home and at work I've been having trouble backing out of sites. Has anybody else had this problem?

No, but there are some nasty viruses which keep people return to some sites. First trick is to empty your browser cache, then do some research on the virus, characteristics etc, perhaps the name of the site and see if you get any helping search hits.

Also beware for malware which promises to remove viruses or detect registry faults.

Thank you for responding. A coworker was having the problem too. But I'm not having it at work today. Hopefully things are better on my home computer. There I have Norton anti-virus program which has worked good thus far.

It's weird you'd be having trouble both at home and at work, so shouldn't be a virus.  I don't know where you work but I work at a hospital so they have a rigid IST department whose in control of everything, a little too much for my liking  Smiley

I never liked Norton and it used to only give me trouble and hog and slow my system.  Now I use Kaspersky and love it.

Vicky:

My work blocks some things such as blogs, including your blog.
