Video clips on retrievals and Focuses
May 5th, 2012 at 7:06pm

I found this interesting youtube clip, which mentions retrievals of Aspects of Self,
which is one of the more puzzling parts of retrievals to me. I hope others will get
something interesting from it, she mentions it from about 5:55:

Hi

Thanks for the link. I don't have an answer to your question but I could speculate.

I looked up some of the others in the series. it was funny to hear the story about Skip Atwater and hear about his account of being on a great hydraulic bed. At least that is wha he thought happened when he listened to one of Monroe's early tapes.

Right after I found that I got the latest newsleter from TMI and they are talking about an upcoming conference on Remote viewing that Atwater will be attending. Here's a link to the conference site:

Here's a list of the speakers

Here is a newspaper account of the murder case

None of this helps with your question about aspects!
Except if we are all one then aren't we all aspects of All That Is? So why couldn't aspects have aspects? like a mandelbrot..except the self-similarity is not always obvious....

Among the youtube radio interviews I like best are the ones with Monroe or Buhlman,
but they mention very little about Aspects of Self. I really wonder why?

The Aspects concept has made me wonder a lot. Perhaps we should view ourselves as
Aspects as well?

I don't know if either of them have/had a really good handle on the concept even though it is useful in casual conversation. I mean, we don't have a good definition of conciousness to begin with. So how can conciousness have aspects?

I like to think in terms of sets. Lets say that the disc is a full complete set of ...something. Then we are all subsets but never complete sets. We have, as disc members, mix-able subsets of traits.

Maybe every subset can develop an ego, and maybe when we have an ego we have the potential to get lost. Somehow we can't operate in this world without an ego-function but maybe that function is what makes it possible to need retrieving.

Well that's just some ideas. Sometimes we focus on one thing so hard we forget other things.

I haven't looked at it in years but Jane Roberts had a book she called something like 'aspect psychology'. I think this must be an old idea.

Yeah so I think maybe I am as aspect of my disc. (disk?)
