Set myself on fire
Mar 13th, 2012 at 2:38am

Strong dream where i was pouring petrol or fuel over myself and setting myself alight to see how long it would take to 'leave' my body.

I felt very much like the observer in the one, yet at the same time i was from the point of view of my dream body.

I almost felt lucid.

Strangely enough i had a feeling of excited expectation at the propspect on seeing what would happen.

Any thoughts?

Hello Outsidecreative,

I'm wondering if its purpose was to increase your vibrations to make it easier for you to get out of your body?  Or perhaps a signal that a significant OB or consciousness experience will coming along, a sort of get-your-attention move?

You have so many better ways of leaving the physical that I trust you're not intrigued to try that one?   Smiley

Hi Betson,

yes, i'm not that keen on using that 'exit' technique Smiley

I'm actually doing a Monroe Gateway Voyage programme starting this saturday, so as you said, it could be a little teaser.

interesting none the less Smiley

Maybe it meant that you shouldn't try to "destroy" yourself in the process of trying to go 'out of body'.

In other words, it's not that important compared to the "main game" which is making choices based on love instead of fear, here in the physical world.

If you are desperate in going OBE, this might be the explanation. If not, it is likely something else.
